Teaching and coaching has ALWAYS been me, Coach Z!!! Read below to get to know a a few things that have helped to mold me into the perfect certified life coach for you!🍃⤵️
It’s second nature for me to lead groups, or help individuals one on one. Anyone who knows me can attest to the fact that Ive ALWAYS had a passion for the creatives, as well as helping others advance (especially women/girls). This didn’t start in recent years, it’s deeply embedded in me. I’m a purpose pusher!! From elementary to now I’ve created, helped, taught, served, mentored and coached!
Why? Because I know how it feels to be on the receiving end of a not so easy life believing something isn’t attainable! And, I knew how it felt to not have access to certain things. You see, helping and serving others is what God called me to do from a young age (in many environments and industries) and my creative pursuits gave me something to dream and aspire to beyond my current reality and circumstances at every point in my life!
Just know, if you get me as a coach, not only do you get an educated experienced professional but, you also get someone who has had more practical experience than you can imagine. I am a person who has successfully navigated life’s challenges in various environments.
A few fun facts:
-In my upper elementary I helped to tutor other students, was apart of Junior University going into middle, learned to sew and braid hair.
-In middle school I was on drill team, was always in some camp, trying to create and learning myself academically.
-in high school, I was selected for Girls State, apart of who’s who book, in pageants (I actually got 3rd runner up in one), did independent seeing, captain of dance, acted in drama, and did pretty good academically.
-in college I worked, did well academically, volunteered, pledged my sorority, braided hair on the side to make extra money and double majored.
-After college, I thought I’d move to New York or DC to work in PR or politics. However, I began working for the Federal Government. I also taught speech communications 1300 at the college level, managed a Ronald McDonald House, volunteered at Big Brothers Big Sisters, Received my masters, traveled the country in an exclusive leadership program with my employer, trained new employees and volunteered at my church.

Zykina Stewart, the First Lady of Greater Life Church San Diego and CEO of Evolve Coaching Solutions, hails from College Station, Arkansas. She possesses two Bachelor of Arts degrees from Southern Methodist University, majoring in Psychology and Corporate Communications and Public Affairs. Additionally, she holds a Masters of Arts degree in Interpersonal and Organizational Communications. She is a Certified Life Coach, Christian Coach, Communication Coach, and Grief Coach. Zykina has also served as an adjunct professor, teaching Intro to Speech Communications.
Dr. Michelle R. Thompson - is Senior Vice President of M.A.N.D.A.T.E. Records Inc. an acronym that stands for Making A Necessary Difference At The End. She is also the Program Director of one of the fastest growing Internet Radio stations GODRadio1.com. Better known by her artist’s name Evangel, she has been in the music industry for over 30 years starting out as a Christian Hip Hop artist, singer and songwriter.

I’m on a work video call installing a new leader and the speaker said, “When the boss makes a decision you run with it!” I wanted to shout 🗣️”preach sir”
As much as my job pains me and mentally stresses me out, and I know that as a leader my decisions would be different, guess what? I’m going to do what I can to bring life plus more to the decisions of my boss (unless they are unethical). Listen, I know for sure that for I don’t want all that come with being a leader in certain arenas. No matter who your boss/leader is a few things to consider when you fall under an ethical leader:
-Trust them!
-They receive direction from a higher source, they don’t report to you.
-They have information you have NO idea of!
-They know things from many sides and perspectives!
-They should be transparent, but they can’t tell you all they know!
-Support them
-know that you know have to agree with everything, there is a bigger picture
- depending on the group, family or organization size, leader to many not just one or few. Some be selfish, it’s about a bigger picture.
-Play YOUR position well. We all have seasons and days, so there will be days.
-admit or say when you need help: help growing, understanding, or healing.
-be a good troublemaker, not a bad one. Be willing to stand on business and to not be liked for doing and following your leader when you know they are leading in the right direction.

Leadership comes with a lot of heat & pressure. Casting of vision accountability, transparency, sacrifice, unfair judgment, fair judgment, loss of a life you previously had, gaining a life you never envisioned, leading those who want to be lead and those who don’t, all come with the territory; it is done in the name of something you believe in and want to protect and grow. So, with those thoughts I say happy Presidents’ Day to the previous great leaders of our country.

Christian coaching tip: line up your definition of love with what the Bible says love is! We have guidelines that give us a clear cut definition. TWO things:
1️⃣God IS love, so we need to learn of the nature and character of God and that will tell us how we should display feel about love given➡️ 1 John 4:8
2️⃣ Love is patient, kind, not jealous, not boastful, not proud, not rude, or demanding, not irritable, keeps no record of wrong, doesn’t rejoice in injustices, rejoices in the truth, it doesn’t give up, it doesn’t loose faith, it’s always hopeful, and it endures through all circumstances. ➡️ 1 Corinthians 13
