This week we kicked off our Christmas series, “Unwrapping the Names of Jesus”. The Bible refers to Jesus by almost 200 different names, from “Prince of Peace,” to “Emmanuel,” to “Wonderful Counselor,” to so many more. What we experience by studying the different names of Jesus is that each one is truly a gift, containing beautiful truths to be unwrapped and explored. We’re kicking off this series by talking about “Jesus, The Light of the World.” The truth is that our world is filled with darkness. Five minutes spent watching the news would reveal that. Hopelessness, loneliness and depression are at all time highs. Now more than ever, we need the message of Christmas—the light that entered the world. Join us as we talk about what it looks like to live with that hope, and in doing so, invite others into it.
