The blue barrels that offer a lifeline to migrants lost in California's harsh desert As rescues surge in the Imperial County desert, the longstanding policies that funneled migrants to such harsh terrain deserve scrutiny.

I wonder what kind of cruel person takes the time, to go out in extreme heat and destroy or take away the barrels containing water? The barrels are there for anyone who needs water to survive the desert heat.
Barrels of drinking water for migrants walking through Texas have disappeared As the heat rises in Texas, law enforcement is working to untangle a mystery involving the disappearance of a life-saving measure for migrants traveling through an arid region.
Water Station volunteers did it again!! “The few, the faithful” David, Rob, Pedro and his Son Joaquín, John and Laura.

Extreme heat concern
High temps add another dangerous element to those crossing the US-Mexico border illegally There are miles and miles of rugged, desolate terrain, the blazing sun will be beating down, and the U. S. Border Patrol is on constant alert.
With benign weather Water Station volunteers managed to replenish and repair the water stations. Unfortunately there’s vandalism done every once in a while, but we continue our efforts to stop heat related deaths in the Southern CA desert. Our deepest appreciation to: Tom, Steve, David, Brett, Paula, John and Laura.
