Promise from God: He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. (Phil. 1:6)

Pray with me: We praise you Faithful Father that you are at work in our lives and the lives of those we pray for. Thank you that as we seek to know you and follow you that we become mature in Christ Jesus. Help us to remember to show grace to those who are in our lives that fall and stumble knowing that you are at work even when we don't see it. Thank you that you are patient with us and kind in the process of developing our character. Empower us to show that same patience and kindness to others. Let us surrender this day to you trusting that you will complete the work you have begun in each one of us. Forgive us for falling into the temptation of fear, pride, doubt, lust, and envy. Wash us clean by your blood and renew us to be motivated to know you more and to proclaim your glory and grace to those whom you put in our path. We love you Lord and want to honor you this day with humility. Make us more like you in Jesus name. Amen.
