Music Movement’s Wireless Family Fund is one of our core programs to provide financial support to our Wireless and Technology Industry community, for any reason. For example, this would include industry focused non-profits, living expenses, funeral expenses, therapies not covered by insurance, medical expenses, further education, etc.�

Through our Wireless Family Fund, we have awarded a grant in support of 3Strands Global Foundation, a nonprofit organization. Our longtime friend Kenny Blakeslee of Apex Site Solutions has partnered with 3Strands to create the TATE Initiative (Telecommunications Against Trafficking & Exploitation), a training program for individuals in telecommunications industry on how to recognize and report the signs of Human Trafficking. Well, that’s a wrap on the Music Movement 13th Annual West Coast Charity Golf Tournament! After a perfect day on the Links, we welcomed representatives from Children’s Hospital of Orange County and Riverside Unified School District Foundation at our closing reception for grant presentations to their respective programs focused on music therapy and autism awareness.

Next up was our live auction and in addition to a luxury villa in Punta Mita, our guests had the opportunity to bid on a surprise auction item generously offered by former all-pro Chiefs running back Christian Okoye, one of our Music Movement celebrity ambassadors. The amazing offering included two field level seats to any Chiefs game of the winner’s choice, along with a personal es**rt by Christian to the field during the game. We were all deeply touched by Christian’s generosity!

Meet Londyn and Trinity, the latest recipients of a Music Movement Founders Club Grant for music therapy! Their mother reports the seven- and six-year-old girls are high-functioning on the autism spectrum, with executive functioning delays as well as ADHD-like presentations regarding attention and hyperactivity. Music calms Londyn and Trinity, while aiding in their executive functioning maturation.

They both aspire to become ballerinas, actresses, and inventors! As homeschoolers, Londyn and Trinity have a broad scope of life, and both girls love coding and robotics. The Music Movement grant will afford the girls the opportunity to participate in music therapy for the next 12 months, broadening their horizon further and in hopes of leaving a lasting impact of “I CAN” for the next generation of high-functioning Autistic children.

Our Founder’s Club and Celebrity Opening reception was a fantastic evening of fellowship at the Waldorf Astoria Resort in Dana Point.
