There's no Venta on New Year's Day but we'll be back on Saturday to start off 2021 with an all-time favorite🎉✨

Thursday 12/31
- Pozole Blanco w Tostadas de Tinga: A classic caldo with pork, hominy, oregano, lime, garnished with lettuce and radish. Served with two chicken tinga tostadas prepared with chipotle and caramalized onions, topped with crema mexicana and queso fresco. $15
- Pozole Vegetariano with Vegetarian Tinga Tostadas: Vegetarian caldo prepared with mushrooms, hominy, and chile guajillo. Garnished with oregano, lime, lettuce, and radish. Served with two vegetarian tinga tostadas (carrots, caramelized onion, chipotle, queso fresco, crema mexicana). $15

If it weren't the middle of a pandemic the second half of December would find us preparing to open our humble home to all of you for one of our beloved SF-style Posadas Navideñas. We can't do that just now - but we've developed this week's menu with the Fiestas Decembrinas in mind and have a few festive offerings to share with you❄️☃️✨

Thursday 12/24
- Ponche Navideño - 64 oz for $25: A classic, hot, spiced beverage with fruits, cinnamon, whole sugar cane and piloncillo enjoyed during the holidays. Delicious with mezcal, tequila or brandy (not included)
- Buñuelos - 3 for $10.00: Another holiday classic, wheat flour dough prepared with egg and spices, pan fried for a crunch, prepared with cinnamon sugar, served with a syrup of piloncillo.
- Chocolate Amaranth Cake (gf) $20: A gluten-free cake prepared with amaranth flour and whole food ingredients, fresh raw cacao.

Saturday 12/26
- Caldo Tlalpeño $15.00: DF style chicken soup with carrots, potatoes, garbanzos, chipotle, epazote, and lime. Served with rice. Agua fresca included with every order.
