Thank you to all of the players who’ve been a part of DBSC Futsal for the last 34 years!

You were represented at the 2023 US Futsal National Championship by these 24 warriors, who made up the Men’s Over 35 team coming in third with a bronze medal🥉and the Women’s Open placing first and bringing home the gold 🥇!

I am proud of you all!

I hold near and treasure all of the memories, along with all of the friends, I’ve made over the years but most importantly, the family Di Bufala Sport Club has become since starting in May of 1989.

My love for this sport was never more than my love for my players. All the sacrifices made to defend our colors never went unnoticed. I never did it for money, but for the pure love of the sport and they were always very much appreciated.

I want to thank my family: my wife Leo, daughters Gabriela and Barbara, son Tiago, and granddaughter Isabella (Bella) for all of the help and understanding of the hours, days, and months over the years I couldn’t be with them.

I am retiring as a coach but I love the sport too much to be 100% away!

From the bottom of my heart, thank you all.

A seleção feminina voltou a conquistar a Copa América de Basquete após 12 anos de espera. O novo título veio de forma invicta, na cidade mexicana de León, durante o final da noite de domingo, quando as brasileiras venceram os Estados Unidos por 69 a 58 na final e levantaram a taça do torneio pela sexta vez. Nenhuma nação tem mais títulos do campeonato continental do que o Brasil.

A campanha do hexa garantiu a seleção no Pré-Olímpico Mundial, o último estágio da briga por uma vaga nos Jogos de Paris-2024. Estar na final já havia garantido a classificação ao Brasil, já que os Estados Unidos iniciou a Copa América com vaga assegurada em razão do título mundial conquistado na Austrália. As americanas também já estão garantidas na Olimpíada, assim como a anfitriã França.
