About Last Weekend: 07.16.2022 we just wrapped up our American Cancer Society's 2022 Relay For Life - Pacifica Coastside event. It's our home/local Relay For Life's first live/in-person event since 2019 and post-pandemic social distancing and stay-at-home mandates with '20 and '21 done virtually. It felt awesome to finally see everyone in person again and all the Teams return in droves, although it was an abbreviated version of previous and of traditional Relay events, which is held 24hrs, it felt great to get together again at last, to honor, remember and celebrate all the cancer survivors, our friends and families we have lost and to raise funds to support the American Cancer Society's lifesaving mission, towards cancer research for cure, to fight and end cancer and for providing support and healthcare needs for those who are battling cancer.
For this year, our local home Relay chapter thus far have raised over $73k for ACS and continues to fundraise to reach or surpass its annual goal. This is all not possible without its Volunteers who put these events together, All the Relay Teams and Captains, our Pacifica Coastside's Event Leadership team, Supporters, Sponsors and Donors.
