Remember the art quilt challenge issued several months ago?
The theme is WATER—a drop, a glassful or a whole ocean. We
set an October 1 deadline, hoping to have a good display of art
quilts for our own quilt show and PIQF in 2022. We’ll need to let
PIQF know as they plan display space for 2022.
Here are the details:
• THEME: WATER
• SIZE: 12 x 15 inches, vertical orientation
• SLEEVE: 4-inch sleeve sewn to the top of the quilt back
• LABEL: Label sewn to back of quilt with the quilt name,
maker’s name & town, and year completed
• DUE DATE: Quilts are due October 1, 2021, with a picture emailed to me.
Put on your thinking cap and see what you can make to depict
WATER. And be sure to keep your previous Art Quilt Challenge
quilts handy, ready to be displayed in 2022!
To sign up, and to submit a photo by October 1st of your completed challenge quilt, please see the September Newsletter page 8 for the person you should contact.
