I am back from all the new year holiday chaos! There is something about the newness that makes me want to tell new stories. I am working on some new short stories until I am ready to start up my novel again. I am still on the first draft of chapter 3. I am working on finding some wroting groups that work better with my schedule. I have been struggling a bit with the cold, so I've needed to get fresh air and exercise whenwver possible. I also took some time off to take care of some personal matters that have kept me away from doing anything creative for quite some time. I am really excited to be getting back to wtiting again and reading. What are all of you doing this year?

I came across some old writing that was completely alligned with the inner work I started for Halloween/Samhain. I was asked to write a dialogue of my past, present, and future self. The first thing that came to mind was a trauma from my childhood. That is when I took the opportunity to use my writing to heal it. This was very personal, but a fun piece to go back and edit. I'm sure this has been done before, but I wantsd to share something with you for the season. I think my inner child wants their story told. The process was very transforming. That said, trigger warning! This piece has sensative material. Proceed with caut ion, if you dare! 😈

One thing I see in comon with writers on social media is the need to apologize for not being active when really they are writing, doing the work, going to book signings, and taking care of their earthly lives. Remember that planet we live on? Yes it bums me out sometimes when I don't see an author post for a long time, but having to apologize for not playing in a virtual world takes all the benefits of being on social media away. What is the point of connecting with other writers, authors, and publishers if you never have time to get down to business. Writing takes time. Part of the creative process is getting inspired, research, walking away from your art to see it from another angle, taking time to edit, read your work out loud, do chores to balance out your life, reading other books and magazines, going to writer's groups, and doing any necessary free writes to develop the piece. That does not even go in to the process of submitting and hopefully publushing of a book, if you do not already have a publisher. You can't write anything if you are not truly living authentically. That is why this psge may be somewhat quiet. The most impactful and inspirational people in my life are those I meet with in person. Social medua is just a tool to help us find each other. It's just a tiny push in to possibility.

I would like to see this as a boundary in business and online. This does not mean the absence of integrity.

Really interesting interview! I can relate to not wanting a television. When you are swept away by your craft, it takes you places beyond what this world can see. It touches my heart to hear what the author says aoout the word disabled. His words about comonalities in marginalized communities speak my heart's truths. I can't wait to read this and watch the movie.

Good morning and happy saturday to you all! 🌼

I have not been lazy. I have been a busy bee. I immediately started to write again and developing. With a brand new efficient work space, this has gotten a lot easier. I started on my demons project. I am starting to develop rituals for my writing. Let me know if you are interested in hearing about my process. I haven't found too many blogs dedicated to this particular writing topic.

I have come to the conclussion that I start my best writing channeling. Despite my efforts to make my writing a "normal" every day creative outlet that is accepted by society, the truth is that writing is naturally a very spiritual activity for me. I need to start treating it for what it actually is.

I have also mastered formatting on Mictosoft Word! CHAA! I'm struggling to stay patient. I know this will take a while to be publishing ready. Thanks to all of you, who have supported, Followed, and viewed my page. I did not expect that. Much love to you.

I've changed my website and page name. I did not feel good with the setup. There is certainly a ritual and sacred exercise about choosing a pen name.
