Organization is about function, creating systems that keep things in place. This doesn’t always mean every single thing needs a container. It’s always something I talk through with my clients, especially a pantry, when going in, and putting everything in containers, which works for many people; it is time consuming for others. Find your right fit. Don’t feel discouraged if your space doesn’t look like Instagram feeds. As long as you have a system that works for your style, it’s going to pay off in the long run. Everything you own, requires work from you, so if you don’t want to unpack to fill containers when your shopping, consider baskets to corral things in order. This makes putting things away easier, because everything has a place to go.
