Hey everyone this is Tia stepping in for posting now. There won’t be too many more new updates as things are declining rapidly over the last couple weeks. She’s still at Hopewell House in Portland. She loves seeing everyone’s faces when they come.

Any and all thoughts, prayers, and overall support sent our way for her as well as our family are much appreciated during this time.

Thank you for supporting her and everyone who has stepped in, called, texted, or just came for a visit.

Hi everyone! I will be moving into a hospice care home called Hopewell House on Sunday. The address is 6171 SW Capitol Hwy., Portland, Oregon 97239. I will have my own private room and can accept visitors 24/7. Your wonderful visits help to fill my days and I love seeing you. I look forward to seeing you when you can come. Hugs! Hope to hear from you soon.

Hey guys. Here's an update for you: Oh my goodness. I went home from the hospital but only declined from there. Then my daughter's sent me to the er. I chose Adventist health...never again. I will always choose ohsu. Lol.
I had to be there for three days before I received approval to go to a skilled facility for rehab. I'm now at the Village on 182nd down by Powell.

If any of you would like to visit, visiting hours are 6:30am-8:00pm. I would love to see you.

Please continue to pray that my time here will continue to help me become more mobile.

We ask that you keep your healing hand over Dawn and allow her to gain the strength to do the work needed to walk. Also to help her to get through each day with encouragement. In your sweet name, Jesus. Amen

Update. Hi guys. I'm home from the hospital. My recovery was set back due to falling twice prior to leaving the hospital. It's a slow process. I'm not able to walk without without assistance yet. My sister is here taking care of me until the 20th. Believe me, she has been a true blessing. I'm not always easy to care for. Please continue to pray for healing. I love Andis you all. I look forward to your visits and future time together ❤️

Update: I'm definitely doing the wobble walk as I'm unsteady on my feet. Surgery check-in is scheduled for 9:15am tomorrow. Prayers that the pain is considerably less or gone with surgery.

Update: My surgery is scheduled for this Friday to remove as much of the tumor in my spine as possible and fuse t-11, t12, l-1 & l-2. Please continue prayers. God is good and is in total control. I will be at OHSU. Surgery should take about 5 hours. My stay should be about 3 days. I love you all and thank you all for your support and prayers.

Neurosurgeon appointment today. Setting surgery on urgent basis due to due cancer. I got the rundown on the cons and was more disappointed in his cya tactics rather than assuring me that he's gonna do a good job. They have yet to get in front of the pain so I cry and pray a lot. God is listening. I can tell when he's answering my prayers. I'm scared but keep reminding myself that God says, "be not afraid, for I am with you." He also reminds me to be courageous...thank you Mamie Carter for continuing to remind me of these verses. They're going to cut as much of the tumor out as possible without making things worse. Then they are going to have to do some fusion. I'll let you know when surgery is scheduled as soon as I know. Love you all and thanks for your love and prayers.

Hi guys. I just sent this update to a friend and thought it best to share with all of you. They found a tumor in my spine in the "v" where my sciatic nerve meets. They also found spots on my lungs and another lesion in my right breast. Same one from before. They're doing a biopsy on my lungs Monday and I meet with the neurosurgeon on the 22nd, likely to schedule surgery soon. They're worried if it grows or they can't keep the inflammation down I may have mobility issues. They couldn't do surgery when I went into the hospital because I was still taking chemo, which can impede proper healing. They are waiting for the chemo to leave my system in order to schedule surgery. Needless to say, the steroids make me very moody. Please continue praying. Love you all.
