Ok family and friends, I just went solar. My house and the in-law apartment together about 1,300 sq feet. My electric bill was $300 and up over the summer. I purchased solar and only pay the grid fee to Duke which is $30 and the cost of my solar panels. My solar panels for my home are $140 a month.
