Next Sunday at Renninger's Florida Tribal Dance will be performing and I will be dancing with them. Let's all keep our fingers crossed for good weather!

NEXT WEEKEND: The Fifth Annual Renninger's Steampunk Industrial Show is scheduled to take place! We hope to see you all there!

This time next week two of the belly dance classes will be done and we will be getting ready for the Silk Road Expo show. Who else is way excited?

Hard as it is to believe DragonCon is actually next week! Where did the year go? For anyone who will be attending and is interested in my class schedule here it is:
Fri. - Introduction to Belly Dance 2:30pm Hyatt International South
Sat. - Isolations & Travel Steps 1:00pm Hyatt International South
Sun. - Isolations & Shimmies 4:00pm Hyatt International NORTH
Mon. - Travel Steps & Turns 10:00am Hyatt International North

There will also be a wonderful Silk Road Exposition show on Sat. at 5:30pm in the Hyatt Regency V featuring a wide variety of performances including but not exclusively belly dance.

It is official, I will be teaching belly dance classes Fri., Sat., Sun., and Mon. of DragonCon. The schedule is tentative right now but this time the Saturday class is not scheduled against the parade. Please keep an eye out for official times and I look forward to seeing lots of new and familiar faces in Atlanta. Even if you can't make the classes please let me know if you are there so we can at least say hi and get a picture together!

This post from DanceCraft touched me very deeply because I frequently think that I am past the age where I should be dancing. Somehow something or someone always comes along at just the right moment and I get motivated all over again and I am grateful for that nudge!

If you are in the Jacksonville area this is a wonderful opportunity to take classes from an amazing teacher. I have taken her workshops and enjoyed them immensely and learned much so I can recommend this wholeheartedly.

Starting January 6th! This is an open class and all levels are welcome. You do not have to be a member of the club. $10 fee to be paid at desk when you sign in!
