Ranetta Bron for Sanger Unified School District Area #1

Ranetta Bron for Sanger Unified School District Area #1

As an active parent volunteer for 10 years, I LOVE our District, our kids and our community.

I'm engaged and ready to offer a fresh perspective and practical solutions to improve our kids' educational experience and set them up for a lifetime of success.

My involvement with the School District runs deep - I've been volunteering with SUSD for the last 10 years and have the benefit of experiencing it from a very different perspective than our leadership! I've seen firsthand the challenges our schools face, and I know SUSD is in need of change. I’m ready to bring my depth of knowledge as a mom of 3 current SUSD kids, business owner, and parent volunteer to the school board and advocate for our students.
💬 Leave me a comment on what changes YOU would like to see for our kids.

to an amazing collaboration with other Sanger Unified parents! Together, we designed, funded, and built raised garden beds at two schools in the District. It’s all about creating hands-on outdoor education opportunities for our kids! 🍎 🥬

A HUGE thank you for the shoutout ! Vince is truly as genuine and kind as he appears and I’m better for knowing him and his family. I can’t wait to work with him to help Sanger Unified teach new heights! Don’t forget to VOTE this Tuesday!

What may work for other cities across California doesn’t always work for the kids at Sanger Unified. That’s why I’m fighting for local control—so the decisions that impact our students are made by the people who know them best: parents, teachers, and leaders right here in our community. I want to make sure that schools have the policies and resources that truly reflect our kids' needs—not a one-size-fits-all approach from Sacramento.

Strong bodies, strong minds. As a parent and agricultural professional, I know that wellness starts with what we put on our plates and how we move our bodies. Schools have a tremendous opportunity to give kids the resources they need to stay healthy and focused and set them on a pathway to a healthy future!

Our kids are everything. As a wife, mom, business owner, and community volunteer, I know the importance of balance. Our schools should support families, not add stress. How can we improve communication between schools and parents?

Let’s talk about transparency and accountability. Do you feel like you are well informed about where funding goes? I’m committed to fiscal responsibility, but I want to hear from YOU. What do you think needs to change?
💬 Let me know in the comments!

Why am I running? Sanger Unified needs a fresh perspective and I’m ready to bring it. I’ve had 10+ years of experience volunteering, raising three kids in Sanger Unified, listening to what YOU have to say, and bringing practical solutions to the table. Sanger parents: remember to vote for Ranetta Bron for Sanger School Board Area #1 on November 5th.

Today, I was honored to attend the ribbon cutting for the opening of the first phase of the SUSD Ag Complex at Fairmont. This has been a labor of love over the past 7+ years, and I’m so excited to see this vision come to life. Special thanks to Christine Klistoff, Charlene Griesner, and Jared Savage for all their hard work on behalf of our students and for bringing this hands-on, immersive learning experience to our community!

Change isn’t just needed — it’s overdue. As an active, engaged parent in Sanger Unified, I’m ready to ask the right questions to bring accountability, transparency, and real communication between our schools and the community to foster growth and bring SUSD to new heights.

Toolbox Program Hits Major Milestone!

A significant milestone was celebrated Saturday at The Big Fresno Fair as Shannon Douglass, the first female president of the California Farm Bureau, presented the 500th toolbox as part of the All-Around Ag Award Program, also known as "The Toolbox Program."

The Toolbox Program, founded in 2015 by Clovis Rodeo Board Member and Fresno County Farm Bureau President Mark Thompson, has provided essential tools to young agricultural students. 4-H and FFA members, between the ages of 10 and 18, are nominated by their club or chapter and awarded toolboxes valued at over $250. These toolboxes serve as a vital resource for students pursuing careers and education in agriculture.

"This 500th toolbox marks a special milestone for a program that has grown significantly over the past nine years, thanks to the support of sponsors, friends and the agricultural community," said Thompson.

Douglass, who was elected president of the California Farm Bureau in December 2023, presented the toolbox to this year’s recipient. Douglass, who rose through the ranks from local county office to state leadership, has been a strong advocate for agriculture in Sacramento.

"I’m honored to be part of this milestone. Supporting the next generation of agricultural leaders is a cause that’s close to my heart," said Douglass.

The recipients of the toolboxes were announced during the Fair’s Jr. Livestock Auction, recognizing outstanding students in agriculture who have demonstrated dedication and promise in their fields.

When you run low on yard signs and your supporters improvise. This just my day. I know that when SUSD parents are represented with a strong voice on the Board, there will be no limit to the creative solutions we can come up with to push our District to new heights. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Thank you! I’m so grateful for the outpouring of support and enthusiasm in this campaign. It was an amazing day and Meet and Greet this afternoon. So many great and meaningful conversations just underscored the need for a new voice representing parents at the table and in the Board room. The connection that happens when we take the time to understand other perspectives will only serve to benefit our District.

ENDORSED by Karen Pearson

“Ranetta has skin in the game. She is a parent, a volunteer, an advocate, and is present at Sanger Unified. She knows what it’s like for parents to have kids go through the educational system in the 2020’s. We need voices serving on the Board that can understand what it’s been like having to live through a pandemic with their children and understands the pressures of having to juggle the new norms - we need someone that is living in the trenches. That knows the pulse of the parents, that is living the life, and that can speak and understand the language of people that she serves. This is why I believe that Ranetta Bron is the best candidate for School Board!”

Thank you, Karen 😊

Legendary. His impact in education spanned across the country over many, many years. Dr. Vaughn will be greatly missed.
