If you don’t already compost (or whatever process you use to divert your food waste from ending up in a landfill) we promise you it is not as hard as you might think! It is the one habit we can all change that will make a big impact on the earth… and it’s not just the physical scientifically proven results, but the mental, emotional and spiritual benefits of taking time everyday to do something for Mother Earth and the greater good has benefits that will make you feel more connected, grounded and empowered. So today is the day. I mean it’s Earth Month you gotta do something! Get or make your indoor and outdoor bins, or sign up for a service or find out what your city does to compost so you can figure out what works best for you. And if you want to honor the beauty of the process with a gorgeous hand made bin, we got you!!! 🌳☀️ #goodancestorhome PS if you are overwhelmed by the thought of composting on your own and live in CA look up your city’s process because many cities actually instruct you to put your food waste in the green bin and they will compost it for you! (I don’t believe the trash sorting is nearly as effective so if that’s the case your own outside system is much better) This is the easiest thing to do and all you need is to separate your scraps while they wait to get transferred to the green bin! Again something you can make beautiful with our bins vs hiding the scraps in a yucky bag or plastic bin under the sink! Juuuust sayin ;)

I have ramblers syndrome, and combining this with our most beloved compost bins has proven to exacerbate the issue, but for anyone who has 2.5 MINUTES (on Insta ha!) to learn more about our bins, I salute you! And also cringe a little bc I definitely do not have a way with words but will do anything to get more people to compost so here I go!
