UPDATE: Ang Tropical Storm ay bahagyang bumagal habang tinutumbok ang probinsya ng Quezon at binigyan ng international name na . Huling namataan ang sentro ng Tropical Storm sa paligid ng Sariaya, Quezon. May lakas ng hangin na umaabot ng 75 km/h malapit sa gitna at pagbugso na umaabot ng 125 km/h. Kumikilos ito patungong hilagang-kanluran sa mabagal na kilos sa 10 km/h.

INAASAHANG ULAN🌧️

Ngayong tanghali hanggang gabi, magpapatuloy pa rin ang pag uulan sa buong lalawigan ng Laguna. Posibleng makaranas ng katamtaman hanggang malakas na pag-ulan na may paminsan-minsang matitinding ulan at malakas na bugso ng hangin, dulot ng inaasahang pagdaan ng bagyo sa ilang lugar sa timog-silangan ng lalawigan.

Bukas ng umaga ng Lunes, may mga pag uulan pa rin sa buong lalawigan hanggang pagsapit ng hapon. Sa gabi, magiging maganda na ang lagay ng panahon.

BILIS NG HANGING💨

Nakataas na ang Wind Signal No. 2 sa buong lalawigan ng Laguna dahil bagyong Aghon, posibleng inaasahang lakas ng hangin na umaabot mula 62-88 km/h, na maaaring magdulot ng bahagya hanggang katamtamang pinsala. Inaasahan ang katamtamang hangin sa Bukas, Lunes, na may bilis na 25-35 km/h.

TAHAK AT LAKAS NG BAGYO🌀

Sa susunod na 12 oras, tatawid ni AGHON ang kalupaan ng mainland CALABARZON at Polillo Islands. Inaasahan na ang tropical storm ay mapapadpad sa karagatan sa silangang baybayin ng Quezon o Aurora ngayong gabi o bukas ng umaga. Sa ngayong, nananatiling tropical storm si AGHON, ngunit hindi rin isinasantabi ang posibilidad na humina ito at maging tropical depression habang nasa mainland CALABARZON dahil sa interaksiyon sa lupa.

Mula Lunes hanggang sa natitirang bahagi ng forecast period, unti-unting bibilis si AGHON patungong hilagang-silangan habang lumalakas. Inaasahang maaabot nito ang kategorya ng severe tropical storm sa Lunes. Si AGHON ay inaasahang magiging isang Typhoon pagsapit ng Martes ng hapon o gabi at posibleng lumabas ng PAR sa Miyerkules.

ℹ️ Dahil sa mga kaganapang ito, pinapayuhan ang publiko at ang mga tanggapan ng disaster risk reduction and management na gawin ang lahat ng kinakailangang hakbang upang protektahan ang buhay at ari-arian. Ang mga naninirahan sa mga lugar na itinuturing na mataas o napakataas ang panganib ay pinapayuhan na sundin ang mga utos ng lokal na pamahalaan tungkol sa paglikas at iba pang mga tagubilin ng pamahalaan. Patuloy na maging updated sa posibleng maging tahakin at mga epekto ng papalapit na sama ng panahon. Ingat po!

School Youth Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (SYDRRM) will be having a whole day school based camp this coming March 16, 2024, Saturday at Balian Integrated National Highschool.

This Camp aims to enhance and instruct students in the right knowledge and understanding of common disasters such as earthquakes, as well as potential hazards and risks that may arise anywhere.

DON'T WORRY YOU CAN ENJOY THIS CAMP WITH NO REGISTRATION FEE! So hurry up and go to our registration area at covered court. Registration is open every lunch and recess . Look at the DRRM officer for further information.

NOTE: This camp is FIRST COME FIRST SERVE and limited to 100 students only so hurry up and get a slot!!

Fun Training Day - December 11, 2023

The School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (SDRRM) officers, together with their adviser, Sir Roderick Joven, had a blissful activity. They played games such as Bato Bola, Karera ng Kahoy, and Tug of War. After the games, they had a boodle fight.

It was such a fun bonding experience for the officers.

Naganap ang National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill sa Balian INHS na pinangunahan ng School Disaster Risk Reduction Management kasama ang kanilang g**ong tagapayo na si Sir Roderick Joven.

Sa ganap na 9:00 ng umaga ang lahat ng bell sa paaralan ay pinatunog hudyat ng earthquake drill. Ang lahat ng studyante ay nanatiling naka Duck, Cover, and Hold hanggang sa matapos ang bell. Pagkatapos ng earthquake drill ay naglabasan na ang mga estudyante para pumunta sa kani-kaniyang evacuation area.

An exciting event took place at the Balian Integrated National High School Covered Court on September 11-12, 2023, where a new group of recruits was introduced.

In a brief and informative session, these recruits learned about DRRM basics. Disaster Risk Reduction Management organization leaders shared their training insights.

The primary objective of this organization is to provide initial solutions and foster discipline within the Balian INHS community.

This activity did not become successful without the presence of Project S.E.E.L.I.F (Students' Engagement Enables Leadership and Idealistic Fellowship), led by the Balian INHS SSLG - Public Relation Committee, it encourages students to join clubs and organizations they're passionate about.

Yesterday a Student, a Principal Today

🎶There can be miracles when you believe.🎶

Mr. Christian S. Balino, outgoing Principal II of Balian Integrated NHS, proved that miracles really do happen, for he was once a typical student, but now the Principal II of Balian INHS.

The dream of serving back his alma mater happened three years ago.

Though challenged by pandemic, many projects have been accomplished and completed, but for Mr. Balino, the greatest accomplishment he considers is that when Balian INHS qualified for SBM Evaluation Level III.

“It is the dream of every principal—to successfully pass the SBM evaluation for Level III,” he said.

When asked on what inspires and motivates him to achieve all the accomplishments, he answered, “Since I am a graduate and once a student of this school, naroon ang pagpupursige na ako naman ang makatulong sa paaralan.”

Mr. Balino is indeed an inspiration to many. He continues to inspire students and teachers to thrive at their best.

As Mr. Christian Balino leaves Balian INHS, he wants to be remembered as someone who leads yet follows, is firm yet kind, strict yet understanding, works hard yet knows how to relax.

“Tuloy lang, wag pagapi sa mga problema, kung ito man ay mental, pisikal, ispiritwal, o emosyonal, kailangan matapos ang ang basic education kasi ito ang magtutulay sayo sa hinaharap,” Mr. Balino’s message to all the students of Balian INHS.
