I don’t always buy from every local vendor or store the day that I visit, but I do make sure to take a business card! This way I can go back & look through them when I’m looking for a gift or item. I organize them by type (jewelry, clothing, beauty, etc.) so I can easily find what I’m looking for.

Attention Happy Hour lovers! A friend & I just had the most lovely time at this evening! Happy Hour is from 4-6 & they have quite a few options on the HH menu, including, wait for it…..$4 HOUSE WINE & $8 house burger & fries! 🥳
Tip: Ask for a seat next to the windows for a great view. 😉

PSA: The Toast-Yay! Girl Scout Cookies are DELICIOUS!
If there’s one thing I can’t say no to, it’s Girl Scout cookies! I was a little skeptical about the new Toast-Yay! cookies, but they are like eating Cinnamon Toast Crunch in cookie form and they are lovely with a cup of coffee. ☺️ There’s still time to reach out to your local chapter and get your cookies!

Did you know that on Canon Perdido now has more seating?! It was nice to have a place to sit today as I crossed some things off my To Do List & I can’t wait to see how they decorate the space. ☺️

FIRST, thanks for sticking with me! I feel like this post from perfectly sums up where I’m at right now. The last couple months have been hard, for numerous reasons, & I feel like I am just now ready to re-enter society after being in hibernation mode.

SECOND, I have so many things I’ve wanted to post about & simply haven’t had the energy. I am so excited to share some fun places/things with you all so stay tuned as I try to get back on the train!

Need a last minute gift? Thank goodness we have such wonderful shops in Santa Barbara to choose from! I popped into .mercantile after work today & I am happy to report I’m done with my shopping!! 🎉 They’re open tomorrow (Christmas Eve) from 9-3 & there are so many fun items to choose from!

I’m so glad we have such a wonderful children’s store in Santa Barbara! Thank you for having a literal TOWER of Jellycat animals & for offering free gift wrapping! If you need Christmas gifts for the littles in your life, I definitely recommend checking this place out!

Currently obsessed with this chandelier at Palihouse Santa Barbara! Actually, I’m obsessed with this whole place! We had brunch on their lovely patio for a friend’s birthday & I can’t recommend it enough! The service was great & the food was delicious! If you’re local, you’ve probably driven right by it on Garden St. It was just so quiet & peaceful, & the enclosed patio makes you feel like you’re in another city.
I’ll definitely be back for drinks with the girls! 😉

It was a “throw on your fluffy sandals & grab a fancy coffee on the way to work day”! is quickly becoming a new favorite of mine. They’re quick, have a good amount of seating, AND they have lavender syrup! ☺️ If you go, make sure to check out their “favorites” menu at the end of the bar.
Okay, now it’s time to tackle some e-mails….

Calling all plant mamas & papas! I stumbled upon the CUTEST plant shop today in downtown Santa Barbara! .mercantile is right next to on Chapala & they are currently only open on the weekends. All their plants are from Goleta & they have an array of local goods, including some really fun earrings.
I recommend grabbing a cup of coffee & spending some time wandering this fun little shop!

Hello, it’s been awhile....I’d like to tell you that I’ve been working on my business, launching my blog, writing my book, catching up on sleep, & living my best life but, long story short, I’ve only just started those things in the last month or so. I think we can all agree that it’s been a crazy year & a half & I’m trying to give myself grace for not checking things off my to-do list.

So here I am, back at it! As things open up I feel this renewed sense of joy and anticipation & I am so ready to share all my favorite places, things, & people! Thanks for sticking with me! Now let’s go on an adventure & get some good food!!

Merry Christmas Everyone! I hope you were able to celebrate with those you love, whether that was in person or over ZOOM. This year certainly looked different, but I am so thankful for family that’s in my bubble & beach walks! 🎄🎁🥂

Finally got a chance to stop by & check out all their new items! If you still need a gift, make sure to check here! This shop has been one of my favorites ever since I saw it across the street while drinking wine in the & then walked in to find owner Jill adding studs to a top right there in the shop. I love the mix of new, vintage, & art! I also learned tonight that everything is printed in a studio just a couple blocks away from the shop. How much more local does it get?! I can’t wait to wear and share the shirt I bought! 😊

Did you know that has board games? Yep, those games that are on someone’s Amazon list you can buy locally! I called ahead to make sure they had the game I wanted, they put it on hold for me, & I picked it up the next day. Super easy & convenient.

I made these earrings for a friend & she loved them so much that I decided to make a couple more. They are available for purchase & you can view all my earrings on the FB Carpinteria Christmas Market page (last photo).

Do-nut mind if I do!! Grabbed Christmas donuts & a yummy Rose Latte from & walked to the SB Courthouse this morning for a meeting. It was perfect & the two of us were the only ones there so social distancing was easy.

I happened upon the cutest little shop tucked away in La Arcada Plaza downtown the other day! just opened this month & they sell beautiful hats along with other handmade goods & some clothing. Thanks for showing me around your shop!

Farmer’s Market flower alert!! 💐 and I found these beautiful bouquets from local vendors at the Santa Barbara Farmers Market this morning & I can’t wait to get home & put them in a vase! We also stopped at because, who doesn’t love to stroll the market with a wonderful cup of coffee?

Had such a fabulous time at for Happy Hour last night with my girls & ! We all commented on how quiet & peaceful it was in the garden & how amazing the food was! They have completely contactless ordering (you do everything from your phone) & all the tables are very spaced out! It’s about 10 minutes south of Santa Barbara & well worth the drive!
