This antique rocking chair was so sad, but I knew there was beauty under all that paint. I stripped the paint with paint remover, then stripped layers of old varnish, then sanded and stained. Oh yeah and glued it all back together because she was very broken.
Now she's beautiful!!

Ah! I love this vintage oak china hutch repurposed! I removed the doors and framing, the mirror and the glass shelves: added bead board to the back and sides and new shelving, changed out the hardware and of course, new paint! 🩶🩶

I’ve had 3 photo sessions with this kitchen and these are the best I could get. Awkward lighting for my amateur skills to capture the transformation-so ugh sorry! But this kitchen was BRIGHT white, chalk paint and not in a good way. The last pic shows the extreme glumpiness of the unsealed chalk painted paint job. 🙈 My client was wanting a twist on a French Country kitchen and I 🩵LOVE 🩵 the blue double islands with the antique glaze.
