We can all agree the last few years have been weird AF. So many missed events 😭 Weddings rescheduled, reunions cancelled, and parties put on the back-burner. Kooks Blend 2
Hello again Kook Club members 🖤 We've got another gorgeous beverage to rave about 😍👇 2021 Kooks Blend 2 (10.75%) is a blend of 3 distinct base beers. A Wheat Wine aged in Peach Brandy Barrels and 2 separate base stout recipes—one aged in Four Roses and the other in Venus Bourbon. Wheat Wine is a style similar to Barley Wine, but in this case, the grain bill is comprised of 40-50% malted wheat, as opposed to 100% barley in a Barley Wine. The resulting beer is softer and more delicate, allowing for the peach 🍑 brandy barrel to really showcase. The peach is dominant on the nose, with a background of leather, oak, tobacco, browned butter and bakers chocolate. To get a true idea of of the delightful blend of brandy and bourbon present in this bottle, imagine yourself in an old, fine leather chair, smoking a peach flavored tobacco pipe whilst sipping on your favorite brandy/bourbon. Now, relax, soak it in, and enjoy each sip slowly and intentionally 🙌 As with all of our barrel aged strong ales, this is best served slightly cooler than room temp, so let it warm up out of the fridge and breath just a little before enjoying ❤️
