That could well be the motto of RICK Woodmansee and his henchman, Clayton Stambaugh -- two Santa Fe County Idiots who ripped us off for a shameful amount of money, pretending to be competent workers when in fact they are dishonest, inept, bumbling morons.

I went to sharpen a chainsaw today, and found that my nifty German-Made $50 Stihl chainsaw chain sharpener had been wrecked by these lunkheads.

Although they said they knew how to use these things -- here, as elsewhere, they lied to us on a non-stop basis -- in fact they did not, so instead of using it properly, they opened the thing up, pulled out the files, and tried to sharpen something manually, using the built-in Stihl files as "standard files," which they are not. They are made especially for chainsaw chains, and are not designed to be used outside the device!

Another tool wrecked -- these freaks don't use their OWN tools! -- , and more needless expenses incurred, thanks to these moronic crooks, RICK Woodmansee and Clayton Stambaugh.

If you are in the NM14/Madrid/Cerrillos/Turquoise Trail/Santa Fe area, WATCH OUT FOR THESE SHYSTERS!!! They will steal your money and stuff their fat faces at The Mine Shaft with your hard-earned dollars, as they did with ours.

If you need a laugh, look carefully at the photo and see what went down here:

1. Brass trim strip is cut too long, and won't fit next to the vertical door astragal.

2. Instead of cutting it to size, these knuckleheads just jam it up against the astragal and forget about it!

3. As a result, THREE trim screws are left out, the piece is cockeyed, it doesn't seal ANYTHING, and the rubber seal just hangs down like shed tears, blowing in the wind.

Way to go, you thieving sociopaths!

Only an idiot-teenager would lose the original thumb-screw pictured at left, since there is no reason ever to remove it (no less lose it); only a malevolent, idiotic teenager would 1. Remove the factory thumb screw; 2) Lose it; 3) Replace it with an ordinary nut, and 4) Seeing that the chosen nut had the wrong thread and wouldn't screw on the bolt, just leave it on there anyway, carelessly and recklessly -- and disrespectfully.

Of course, the fact that these jokers didn't even use their own tools (like ANY "real" workers would have), but used (and ruined) ours -- like this one, AND our mangled Craftsman table saw), was like rubbing salt in the wound!

Additionally, for days, we paid to have this door refinished; instead of stripping the old, weathered varnish off completely, which is hard work, they simply sanded and sanded -- lightly --without stripping -- taking their sweet time -- grinding the old varnish so deeply into the wood that it will take a massive stripping job to get it all off, so the door can be PROPERLY stained and refinished!

Gee, Rick Woodmansee, after messing up practically every aspect of the simple task of placing a door threshold -- you didn't even bother to LEVEL IT! Sh*tty work, is the only description that fits.

You were too busy hoovering up our money to pay attention to the low-quality careless reckless work that your "workers" (the notorious "Clayton," for example, the only "contractor" in the world that doesn't own or bring his own tools to a job) were overcharging us for. Since every single thing you did for us had to be REDONE CORRECTLY, your work was actually harmful -- worth LESS THAN ZERO! Let's hope the Judge agrees with us, as so many Judges before have done.

Oh gosh, Rick, don't you know there is a STANDARD HEIGHT and SPACING used throughout the industry for the correct placement of door hinges? If not, why do you call yourself a Contractor? If so, why didn't you use it? Now we have to fill your damned holes ourselves, and drill them IN THE CORRECT PLACES.

And we paid you for this j***y work?!?!?!?!?

Don't patch it, tear it apart and then pretend to rebuild it!!!

As the weeks rolled by, and our bank accounts emptied, it became increasingly (and ultimately, glaringly) obvious that Rick Woodmansee's (and his henchman, "Clayton's") primary M.O was not to solve our problems quickly and simply, but rather, precisely the opposite: make everything complicated and difficult, talk a lot but do very little, and give us the impression that certain tasks were "necessary" tasks when in fact they were not.

Just One Example: this window. Wizard Rick Woodmansee decided that this window needed to be replaced by a "shorter" one (!), because it was "too low" and therefore prone to leak -- even though it had never leaked, once, in the house's long 20-year history!

Happily, we fired these crooks before they tore out a perfectly good window (don't worry; they tore up other perfectly good stuff). The new builders, who are saving us from the worst of Woodmansee's butchery, are simply going to re-flash the window (Woodmansee tore up the original flashing, which was intact and effective) and it will be good for another 20 years.

More wasted, unused parts, bought by Rick Woodmansee and his band of thieves with our hard-earned money, and never destined to serve any purpose whatsoever. These parts didn't fit our windows, but instead of finding the correct parts, "Clayton" decided he could perform massive surgery on ALL our windows in order to MAKE them fit.

This, because he doesn't know how to source CORRECT parts on the internet (virtually the only place one can find anything, nowadays). So he tries to force fit stuff that is still available locally, no matter how inadequate and unsuitable for the job! Hey, what the hell...he was on our dime, right? So what if it would have messed up all our windows and taken a month of solid "work" to produce mediocre results for massive sums of our money?

Happily, we took him off the job before he wrecked anything, and put him onto other jobs, which he promptly botched before he was fired. As Director James Cameron said to one similarly unskilled and unhelpful contract worker, "Hiring you was like firing two good people."

Calling all geniuses at JW Construction, Rick Woodmansee, Owner (deafening silence follows) (Oh, right, their contractor's license was pulled by the Construction Industries Division of The State of New Mexico):

When you decide that saloon doors should swing IN rather than OUT, be sure that when they do so, they don't cover up the light switch inside, meaning that the user will 1) ALWAYS walk into a dark room, and 2) sit there in the dark unless they close the doors all the way again to reveal the door switch.

No, the correct orientation of the doors is to swing out. Once they are open in that orientation, the user can walk into the room and easily reach the light switch to turn it ON. If these slackers had spent five minutes thinking about anything they did, they wouldn't have sloppily mounted the doors the wrong way, which we now have to unmount and re-mount correctly ourselves!

Back to Pre-K Classes at Construction Kindergarten, Rick Woodmansee and his merry band of criminally-incompetent and scammy losers.

These jokers must have felt like they were doing "real work" when they bestirred themselves, and after weeks of bu****it well-paid busy work, decided to pour some concrete footings in preparation for EVENTUALLY -- Summer 2022, when we were completely bankrupted? -- rebuilding our old porch that they demolished (incorrectly and savagely, but that's another subject: stay tuned).

But they fu**ed that up too, like they fu**ed up very nearly every single thing they touched.

Our new contractor observed -- and so did we -- that they didn't bother to line up the post holders correctly. So nothing would have lined up, had not the new guys (bless them!) turned the mounts on their bases, so that they lined up.
