Just want to thank you for all thank you have done to help my father as comfortable as possible. Everyone that I met from Del Corazon was very pleasant and I would recommend the agency in a heartbeat. Will keep in touch with you concerning my mother and placing her on hospice as well. Again 🙏

Thank you, Amber, for your lovely story about your grandmother. We’ll always have her in our hearts.

My grandma, Vicenta Martinez was born March 10, 1911 and was the most caring and amazing person I have ever known. She was loving, wise, practical and taught me how to cook and bake. She loved politics and we would watch the Santa Fe City Council Meetings together as my husband, Ron served as a City Councilor. She had a special relationship with each of her kids and each of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She welcomed everyone into her home and always had something great to eat, which she insisted you have 'just a little bit of'.

As she aged, she went on hospice three times, graduating two of those times as her condition improved. She passed away on June 11, 2013, at the age of 102 while on Del Corazon Hospice. Having her on hospice gave our family more time for genuine moments with my Grandma. They took care of her medical needs and we did not have to worry about taking her to doctors' appointments. Whenever I post a picture or anniversary of either of my grandparents, several of her old nurses write back to say how they lovingly think of her all the time.
