Haunted Goblin
Welcome to the Haunted Goblin! Handmade treasures to add magic to an ordinary day. I enjoying painting, scultpting and sewing out of my home here in Minnesota.
My style is a bit nerd-centric, at times offbeat and always done with a sense of humor and fun. I would be happy to talk with you about creating your own personalized art. Just send me an email [email protected]

I left some clay in the rain and crossed the fingers. Look at these cute little trinket dishes. Now I keep checking the radar so I can make even more!
So. I was in a mood. A mood where I just hated how flat the tops of all my pots were so I did a little chopping.
The two colorful flowers are from within the past year. The all white is the first flower I did with clay. The pot was wonky and chunky and I thought, I could hide that with a flower. And thus began an obsession.
Here's a little test of applying underglaze with an airbrush machine. I keep meaning to go down this road again because I really do like how it showed up. It blended so nice!
Another crisp white on ivory flower.
2 for 1 day! A skull themed vessel from this fall and a skull bottle from a few years ago.
A plate. Because eating snacks is better on cute plates.
Something more streamlined tonight.
Today something a little out there. I was just experimenting with textures and what gravity would allow.
Happy Valentine's Day!
These were the first very "amanda" weirdo things I made in pottery and I still love them just as much now and then. It was quite intense to get the faces to fit perfectly for the kissy action. π
A very colorful flower vase for today. All the flowers and all the colors.
Something bright! I was hoping by leaving some glaze on the branches it would maybe look like they we coming out of the glaze?
I'm not 100% sure how I feel about the glaze but once I had the candles in I didn't care anymore. I was just in love.
What about forest inspired but neutral color?
First up. Bark texture with twigs and black eyed susans.
February project is posting pics of all these pots! I'm admittedly not great at showing the finished piece. Sometimes because I'm just always in the middle of making more and forgot or I see some flaw and just don't want to show it.
But it's the season of love, so I'm going to show some love to all these little guys!
Literally set it down, all finished. After all the man handling it endured. It broke when I took my hand off. π« π
There was some less than ideal results with some of the latest items I made, but a few survivors are starting to appear!
