Yeah, in case y’all didn’t know, this is the case in Savannah. It’s even true at the “nice” hotels that you’d think would spring for a real concierge. It’s not EVERY hotel, but it’s a lot of them. Most of the concierges are actually just ticket agents for Old Town Trolley.

The city has started putting these good-looking wraps on the utility boxes downtown. I thought it was a real for someone to install a picture of the Neal-Blun right across the street from the ugly hotel that replaced it. That’s the in the background behind the oak tree. 😆

Yates Entertainment is giving back to Savannah and sponsoring a free walking history tour on June 19th to celebrate the accomplishments of African Americans of Savannah. This FREE event is open to the public and will include a Victorian picnic lunch.
Each tourist will obtain a ninety-minute tour in the Laurel Grove Cemetery South. The event is limited to the first fifteen people and first come, first serve so please register sooner than later.

I took this picture weeks ago. This has so much to look at! The bricks laid in , the pilasters on each side and up the front, the , the eyebrows over the windows, those curved - there is so much going on here! Why are modern buildings so boooooooring to look at? Also, why is there always some dumb car parked right in the way any time I take a picture of a very cool building? 😠
are the t**s and I love them. Saw this at my mechanic’s one day and had to take a picture. A is a art form- the artisan weaves and twists palmetto fronds into the shape of a rose. You can find people all over Savannah offering these palm roses for sale. Many people also make crosses and hearts.
In all the buzz over St. Patrick’s Day, I forgot early March is the birthday of . We have a local society that always commemorates him, hence the flowers on his grave/monument.
