Yeah, in case y’all didn’t know, this is the case in Savannah. It’s even true at the “nice” hotels that you’d think would spring for a real concierge. It’s not EVERY hotel, but it’s a lot of them. Most of the concierges are actually just ticket agents for Old Town Trolley.

I had to meet some clients on Huntingdon Street for a private tour and was charmed by this display at the house next door.

The city has started putting these good-looking wraps on the utility boxes downtown. I thought it was a real for someone to install a picture of the Neal-Blun right across the street from the ugly hotel that replaced it. That’s the in the background behind the oak tree. 😆

I was there at on April 10 when the city dedicated a new next to the Montmollin building to commemorate its transformation in 1865 from a to Georgia’s first legal for Black children. Long overdue.

City planning proposed to-go cup zone expansion, will seek public input in "near future" 10/04/2024

Honestly, I think this is a natural fit. And I’ve never noticed locals refraining from strolling around with their drinks in these neighborhoods anyway, so might as well roll with it.

City planning proposed to-go cup zone expansion, will seek public input in "near future" The most recent move to expand the zone was initiated by a request to staff from District 2 Alderman Detric Leggett, who sent the request in late 2023.

I took this picture weeks ago. This has so much to look at! The bricks laid in , the pilasters on each side and up the front, the , the eyebrows over the windows, those curved - there is so much going on here! Why are modern buildings so boooooooring to look at? Also, why is there always some dumb car parked right in the way any time I take a picture of a very cool building? 😠
