What fun!
It's been too long since I last enjoyed restoring a chair or table!

After spending many hours trying to decide what I wanted my life to be filled with, I went back to my roots.

To time that brought me great joy. That time was when I was saving older furniture products, turning them into eye catching beauty! 🥰

Decided to challenge myself to grow large beautiful flowers from Floret Flower Farm...

I just love Erin Benzakein's Book Cut Flower Farm and love watching her videos.

Challenges keep us moving forward in life so I am up for another one!

Growing my own cut flower garden to share with others this summer!

Design will always be a part of life here, as well as furniture transfers, wall transfers, as well as creating my own All Natural Products.

I am excited to return to my roots, how about you?

DIY All Natural Linen Spray

This is easy to make!

2 ingredients only and one of them is water.

Guess what the other is ?

Natural Oil Essential Drops

Thats all you will need, other than a 2 oz spray bottle !

Fill your spray bottle with tap water

Use 10 or more drops of your favorite essential oil, currently I am using English Lavender for my personal one.

Test spray it in the air. If you want it stronger, you only need to add more of the oil.

Now you have an all natural room Linen Spray!I

I like to use mine on the bedding prior to going to sleep. (its a great room spray as well)

Nothing like the calming smell of English Lavender ( my choice ) to bring me into dream land!

VISION BOARD

New Year New Goals!

I create one every year, check into my progress 6 months into the year.

Creating one means sitting down with yourself and getting real about the things you want to do.

What are the new items you want to bring into your life?

Things you have been wanting to learn, trips you want to take, be it cooking, designing, gardening, painting, friends you would like to visit or bring together.

Whatever you want to bring into your life, having it in front of you daily is a reminder, of all the beauty you want to bring into it.

In the picture, is my 2024 Vision Board. I added my pictures to a cork board, but you can pick up a piece of poster board for yours.

Make a party of it. Invite your friends over, have fun making it! You can add flowers, favorite pictures you have, pom pom's, whatever you want, it your Vision Board!

Need magazines? Ask family or friends if they have any..
For all that live by me, I have lots of HGTV, Magnolia, BH, and more..message me to make arrangements.

Want to update a room without costing a fortune?

All you need to do is, change out your pillows and bring in some plants.

You may want to add a throw rug under the coffee table, to mix with your new pillows as well.

I purchase pillow covers online, or anywhere I can find the best price.

This way all you need to do is, take out the filler in the pillow you already have, add it to the pillow cover.

You now have new pillows!!

When it comes to indoor plants, I go with plants that are hard to kill lol!

That's why I love my snake plant, I am working on keeping my plants around, but I confess, I buy artificial plants as well.

Time to Organize!

The winter time gives us the opportunity to get to those pesky things we rather not do.

The closet below is my closet!

After choosing it was time to Organize! The problem was I didn't want permanent fixtures.
When my daughter moves out, I will have a huge walk in closest to use lol!

After many hours of painstakingly deciding what to let go of ( 3 bags for donation, BONUS! ) time to move onto the design.

The mix use idea was the one that won! Dried flowers adding a touch of beauty, the record player adding music whenever I like, microphones for my 1 day You Tube page, and clothes organized by color and style.

I found what I was looking for on Amazon for only $130! BONUS!
It was perfect, and it's easy to build and take down! Not permanent!

All Natural Sugar Scrub Recipe

I have used this recipe as my face scrub for years, and it's easy to make!

2 Cups Granulated Sugar

1/2 Cup Coconut Oil

15 drops Essential Oil of your choice

Add all ingredients into a mixing bowl and cut the Coconut Oil ( I call it chopping lol) into the sugar and mix well.
Add to an air tight container and put into your bathroom for use.
That's it!!

I use it in the shower, every other day, on my face, lips and neck, after I finish showering. Then rinse. The sugar leaves a great taste on the lips as well.

You can use Brown Sugar as well in place of the granulated sugar, if you have dry skin. So much goodness!

And it's good for your skin, doesn't cost much to make, no preservatives, just natural goodness!

Please Please do not paint your home whatever the color of the year is....

If your room needs it and it goes well with your decor, then yes
feel free to go with it!

If it does't then please don't use it, especially if it's an outrageous color!

You're only making more work for someone else or yourself to try and cover that up down the road.

Hey all!
It’s been a bit since I was on here.
My account was hacked 😡, and it’s been a challenging year. Yearning for me to take care of myself, and someone told me “ Gods telling you it’s time for you to slow down”.
That’s when I started seeing my loss of sight ( still can see in front of me woo hoo )as a blessing. Time to except this change, use it to enjoy EVERY single day.

It’s true..
when something physical happens, a loss or a life threatening disease, you see things differently.
Slows you down.

For me.. I am going thru the grieving process of losing my freedom, no longer to drive, this hurts.

Denial
I can still see tho.
then look back at all I questioned
things I miss question what was happening to me.

I was starting to think I was Mr. Magoo lol!

Expectance
Just glad the only person I hurt was myself by not going to doc sooner.

Anger.. dancing it out, much healthier choice then the usual anger release.

Currently working on the future…my new future. Making it all I want in life.

Helping others will always be a part if it.

Working on the future of Breathing Space’s!

Hellooooo!
As most of you know, I had another job that has taking me away from what I really love to do! Create!
Well that ended a week ago. It was time. I took a huge fall cutting my knee open along with swelling. Not my first but definitely my last.
This year I found out why I have had so many accidents.
I have lost 80% of my vision to Glaucoma, leaving me with tunnel vision.
Please don’t feel bad for me, as I still have my sight, just not all of it.
I still see the beautiful sky, the sun rise and fall, and the faces of my loved ones. So I feel very blessed 😇!
I can’t see the sides or up and down without moving my head in those directions, but I can do that so once again Blessed!
It comes with set backs, and new ways of figuring out how to maneuver, yet this is a new challenge in my life, one I will conquer 🥳!
Today was time to get back to what I love!
Pulled out my materials getting a feel for what I can create with them and so much came to mind! Then onto soon
Flowers, Dried flowers, Paints, Stencils and more next!
I am excited for this new chapter and I hope you all follow along 😊!

Clearance Candles!

Last year I started picking up candles on sale whenever I found one I liked!

They came in handy!

A neighbor did something nice for me, in return I surprised her by leaving a candle in a bag with tissue, a candle 💖

Invited to a friends house for a pool day, brought a candle as well!

They dont cost much, yet bring smiles to the receivers face!

So I decided on this vinyl wall transfer!
Comes off easy, no holes in the wall, I could arrange it any way I wanted and the cost only $7.00!
The reminder I receive every time I walk in the room how precious life is!

There are many benefits to this wonderful plant!
I keep mine in the bedroom...

a warning comes with them as well:

keep it out of the reach of children and animals
they contain a poison on the leaves that can cause swelling and numbness if on the tongue in if digested in large doses!
