Moro Shepherds
FCI White Swiss Shepherds bred for health, stable and intelligent character, beauty, and being suita
Blue boy has been reserved. Thank you to all who contacted us.
We have an available short coat male pup, ready to go now. Superb confidence with an open and friendly character. Lovely angles, correct movement, very white coat and excellent pigmentation to include black nails, with both testicles descended. Yesterday we took him on his first hike, to the Pacific Crest Trail! He naturally heels and loves meeting new people and going to new places. Travels great (no carsickness) and is currently crate and house training. We are shaping basic commands by luring with food, which he is taking to readily. Info on our website www.moroshepherds.com. Parents fully health tested and hold many titles- Imperator Furiosa of Moro x Rus Pride Tom Cruise.
Kimber started having contractions to get her pups moved into position for whelp. I expect them to be born in the next 24-36 hours. Even though she is gonna have her own pups very soon, she is very tolerant of my need to multi-task and manage Una as well as Kimber’s approach to labor. Most mamas would not be patient with a puppy from another mother. Kimber is nurturing and gentle with shark baby Una. One more reason why Kimber is one of my favorite dogs of all time. I love these girls. 😍💘
Una is a super sweet and highly intelligent puppy. However, she is also, by far, the bitiest puppy I have ever had. So thankful for this moment, right now, where her shark attacks are only in her puppy dreams.
This is Missy’s last spa day with us. Later today we take her to her new home. She will go live with Summer Kar, a lovely, smart, and confident male WSS who has a lovely hooman Mom, Dad, and two year old child. We originally imported Missy from South America as a baby. However, she did not grow into a confident adult dog and lacked the character stability that should be present in any breeding dog. So although Missy was the best puppy-sitter I could have asked for, she will be much happier having a whole family to herself and a child to dote on with her very strong maternal instincts. Her placement with a strong male will help her navigate the world feeling safer than if she was an only dog. We would have kept her forever here at Moro if the perfect home did not come along, but here she must share me with all of the other dogs and she prefers not to have to share. She will be living pretty close to us, so I am sure I will get to see her from time to time. Oh, the photo of grooming products for Moro peeps: the Nature’s Specialty Frothy Tails (dilute 50:1) smells like strawberries and champagne, and the medicated shampoo for stinky dorito feet. Soak 15-20 minutes in both shampoos at the same time, then rinse.
Went into Animal Control to renew my kennel license. That had a ton of stuff for $1 each!!!! So left with a $40 donation to the local animal control/shelter and came home with probably $300 of toys for babydogs🙌. Only a dog person would understand spending an unplanned $40 and yet feeling like it’s your birthday. I didn’t even stop at the grocery store afterwards, because my reusable grocery bag was already full of dog stuff 😂😂
Renata at her swim assessment on Friday. She is an amazing, and super fast, natural swimmer. She will now start dock diving and hydro dash! Love this girl 🥰🥰
Some of Kalli’s health results are in:
Multi-drug sensitivity (MDR1), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM), Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA), Hyperuricosuria (HUU), Mucopolysacchardosis type VII (MPS VII), Factor VIII deficiency (Hemophilia A), Malignant hyperthermia (MH)- ALL CLEAR. Embark COI 31%. More testing to come from a different lab, and after a year will be joint xray clearances, but so far all is good!
Kalina Ice Lilien, aka Kalli, is doing very well with learning house manners. She has been with us 3 weeks now, traveling from Serbia. She will put herself down for naps, and sleeps in her crate at night in our bedroom. Potty training was slow at first, but now we are making great progress. She is amazing at self soothing and keeping herself busy without being velcro with me, although she stays close and lays down at my feet wherever I am working. She is eager to learn and train, but is also very independent and likes to think for herself. I am excited to see her progress in training and her physical development as a show prospect. Health testing has already begun- with Embark results due soon!
Busy day! Kalina arrives, explores, meets her new family, eats a meal on a snuffle mat, gets a bath, and now a nap. A nap for me too!
FINALLY! Hela has become a mama 🥰! Tom was not able to arrive in time for optimal timing of mating, but we have 3 super healthy chonky girls. This is a very easy first litter for Hela and this suits me fine. She for some reason failed to start active labor, so these babies were brought into the world by my awesome vet, Dr. Brubaker. In these photos they are 20 minutes old and have lovely pigmentation and healthy size. Three days after birth they are nearly 2 lbs and super active.
Congratulations to all of the winners at the Pécs, Hungary dog show this weekend. Renata earned her Hungarian Champion title there today- I am a proud mama! Thank you to .vaczi for the handling and to Anna Szabo for the lovely photo.
My beautiful Renata- thanks to Anna Szabó for the lovely photo. More to come! Natus and San, hanging out in the living room. Can you believe Natus will be 11 years in April and San just turned 7?! Time sure flies by. These two are just a few of my favorite things 🥰
My Renata (dog on right), earned Best of Opposite S*x today at ENCI Winner show today! So proud of her, especially considering she is lacking coat just now. Congratulations to all winners, and D-Ice (IZBB) on BOB!
Well no love today at the show for Renata, but that is the way it goes sometimes. Here is a pic of my little goober looking cute on my couch 🥰.
So proud of my Renata!! Moro’s Renata de Blanc earned a CACIB and CAC today at the Geneva Grand Prix. She won her junior female class. Tomorrow is World Dog Show! Fingers crossed she shows well tomorrow for similar results! Many thanks to .vaczi for the great handling, Ivetta Nyari for the photo, ICE FOX Grooming, and the honorable judge Marko Lepasaar of Estonia for awarding Renata’s win today.
Renata is groomed and ready for the World Dog Show in Geneva, Switzerland 🥰❤️👍 this week! Good luck baby girl, and have fun!
Our Renata earns Best Opposite S*x in Split, Croatia on Saturday and her first CACIB toward her CIB title (International Champion of Beauty). This is her first show entry in adult classes. She is still maturing, but am very proud of how she is developing so far. Renata is the 5th generation of this line of our breeding program, with her great great grandma, Sapphire, born in 2004. Fingers crossed her coat has fully grown in for World Dog Show next month!
Thanks to for editing Renata’s photo from her show in Serbia on Sunday. She won Best of Breed that day. Just plain old trees is much better than a bunch of cars!
Our lovely Renata, earns her Serbian Junior Champion title after winning JBOB today. Many thanks to .vaczi for the wonderful handling and for for the photography to capture Renata’s lovely movement.
We have one long male pup available for reservation. A show quality boy with much presence and great coat color, excellent pigmentation and superbly confident character. Very human engaged and intelligent. Would make an excellent foundation male for a breeding program or be a good performance prospect. Although we prefer he be in a home that will exhibit him in show or sport, we would also be happy to place him in a super loving family situation where he will live an active life of many adventures with family. Today is Natus’ birthday and he is 10 years old! I tried to make his day special. First, went shopping and after checking out the dog stuff aisles for almost 20 minutes he chose a few new toys. He also had a small birthday party with some of his dog pack and they all ate homemade meatballs at the dining table. Happy birthday to my buddy and I hope for many more years with you 🥰, love Mom.
Our lovely baby, Moro’s Renata de Blanc, photographed after finishing her junior show tour of the Balkans. Our many thanks to .vaczi for her skillful exhibition of our baby girl. Renata is the great great granddaughter of our foundation female, Sapphire, who was born in 2004; making Renata the product of 18 years of our breeding program.
Moro’s Renata de Blanc, new Albanian Junior Champion. Not the best stack, but she is still learning and best of all she is exhibiting well and with confidence in her presentation. This was her second show event as a Junior. Good job Renata!
Spa day for Osa 🥰. She goes goes to her new family in Utah on Wednesday. She looks so lovely!!
Patrick, Kimber, and I are on our way home from Budapest, Hungary. We picked up our Kimber from .vaczi and now Renata stays with her for her work at dog shows. In preparation for the 2nd leg home, Frankfurt to Seattle, bier and hotdog to help make me sleepy 🤣🤣. 🌭and 🍺 ftw!

My baby is back! I have Kimber with me again after 9 months of being away for her job competing at dog shows. She comes home from Europe with many champion and grand champion titles and a suitcase full of ribbons and trophies. Thank you so much to .vaczi for taking amazing care of my baby girl. So glad to get her home- now just a 15 hour trip flying from Budapest back to United States.
