Today, we recognize the accomplishments of James W. Pryde, Sr. in the cybersecurity & technology industries. Mr. Pryde was an Army Air Corps veteran who served as a radio operator with the famous Tuskegee Airmen during WWII. His legacy extends beyond the battlefield, as post-war he was a cryptologist for the Armed Forces Security Agency. He later became Assistant Deputy Director of Administration at the NSA. During his tenure, he served as an advocate for Black Americans by promoting a diverse workforce. Pryde was inducted into the NSA Cryptologic Hall of Honor in 2006 and his advocacy for a diverse workforce continues to inspire us to unite communities through technology.
