FAREWELL YOUR MAJESTY
RIP 😞
In today’s unseasonably cool Arizona temperatures I was working in the Potager trimming back the perennial herbs for autumn and thought why put all this delishnous in the compost when I could put it to better use in the kitchen. I think I took the William-Sonoma simmer pot to the next level!! Adding lemon and orange to fresh picked thyme, lemon thyme, rosemary sprigs, Oregano and a bit of sage. The entire house is filled with a calming and redolent perfume of herbs and citrus!
One of my favorite summer combinations is fresh strawberries and rhubarb. Even though it is late in the season my local market still had fresh rhubarb so I couldn’t resist. This Granola Crisp topping with sunflower, pumpkin seeds and the sweet/tart combination of the fruit will be a cool, refreshing treat served tonight over Homemade vanilla ice cream!!! 🍓
