Done a little fly fishing today. Still learning and dialing it in. But I did manage to catch a few bluegill at the lake.

Gonna give this a try tomorrow for bluegill. This is my wax worm made from a rubber band. Wax worms are my favorite bait for bluegill. So I made one that will last for ever.

My smallest fly to date. This was a challenge to tie. I can’t remember what size hook it’s on. Due to the hook just laying around out of its long lost package but this fly is tiny. I have pictured this fly next to a dime and also my wedding ring (Which is a size 15) to give some kind of understanding on how difficult this was for me to tie.

The new double stinger dry fly. This fly will attract any pan fish or trout it comes across. I cannot wait to get this one out of the water to catch a skillet full of fish.

Working on a few 1/48oz Popeyes. Can’t wait to get these out to give some free lip piercings for any fish that want to bite down on these.

Can’t beat a smaller profile jig for light biting crappie.

Working on a new design. I call this style jig the “blood tail minnow”. With refining and tweaking. This should be a fish slayer.

I have to say. Yesterday in cave city was great. Got to see some old friends and make some new ones. Met a lot of great people. Best part was a 12 year old kid came up to me asking about how to tie deer hair. I showed him how I do it. He was greatly appreciative of my advice. But the best part was he returned with a jig that he had tied and gave it to me. He’s gonna have a lot of great years of fishing and jig tying. I have pictured below of what he created. He’s very talented and knows what colors will catch fish.
