My first published book was a memoir regarding travels with my mother. The book served as not only a memoir, but a treatise on the meaning of family, and moving past troubled times into a place of acceptance and understanding. I am very proud of the book and of the positive reviews it received. I owe it all to this lady, my mother. She will be sorely missed.
