A Hue of You
Through text, original art & goods we seek to honor the creativity, beauty & diversity of our people.
Hello and Happy Monday!
The Hue crew has exciting news! True Northwest Magazine, a new local up and coming magazine that highlights small business owners and fellow creatives around communities across the PNW, has featured us as part of their latest edition!🤗
Writer/owner of True Northwest Magazine, Melissa Felzer and Felicia Mae of Felicia Mae Photography, ensured that we had the most fun, engaging and authenticity usmoments during our interview/photoshoot!
We appreciate the opportunity to talk about our art and share our story. Shout out to Judy and Emma Kate. They are the dynamic mother/daughter duo who own and run Books & Coffee and Artisans PNW.
They gave us space to showcase our art and helped to introduce us to the Everett art scene. As Black women navigating a world where we don’t always get to see ourselves in such a varied and complex light. We create art that captures these nuances and when it is seen and appreciated by those who have a platform to amplify our vision, it’s both meaningful and humbling.
Though True Northwest Magazine is in its infancy as a publication, we are so incredibly honored that the three of us are featured in a magazine that’s shines a light on the creatives and local business owners that are part of the tapestry of the PNW.
If you’d like to read the article in its entirety while checking out the other amazing talent showcased in this edition, you can order a digital copy online www.truenwmagazine.com
Plan on take a trip to Everett? Then swing by Artisans Books & Coffee, Colby Ave. Tattoo or Petrikor.
Later this week, additional copies will be available at the follow establishments:
