Such a fun morning yesterday walking in W Seattle kids parade! Great friends, great fun!

Talk about a bellydancer in their natural habitat! My student ’s parents happened to be driving by me as I was on my way to a gig. They recognized me & took a pic to send to their daughter. This is true “behind the scenes” of a dancer bringing their dance bag & all of the things. Pre sparkly glamour/hitting the stage 😂😂🥰🥰🥰 ✨✨✨💫💫 🌈 🦄

Started with Story Time when he was 9mo at the , and then online Little Labs during the pandemic lockdown. provided the full box of goodies so all we needed to do was log on and have fun ❤️❤️

Thank you to the libraries & Kids Quest Museum for your outreach, connecting families to fun/learning, and for all that you do. We truly appreciate you.

Playing the scarecrow 🌻 in ’s The Wonderful Wizard of Oz is hands down one of my all time favorite Bellydance experiences. Such a joy and honor to be a part of such an amazing production!! Every dancer in this production was amazing and a joy to share the stage with.

A bit late in posting, but what a fun weekend at ! ran a great event, and every competitor did an amazing job. It was an honor to be a judge for this competition & dance at the gala show. Truly the talent of each dancer was amazing. So inspiring to see so much variety on the stage. A truly magical weekend 🥰

Look what just arrived!! Our memory bear from !!! These are our favorite onesies & baby blankets from when little man was a wee one. Extra special ones are the “12th man Xander” for daddy, & “I’m magical rainbow unicorn” for mama on the back. She even put the cowboy part of a onesie on its butt 😂. Each of these pieces hold special meaning. Love it so much!!

I’m so excited and honored to be cast as the scarecrow for Jillina's BDEx Presents: The Wonderful Wizard of Oz: Seattle !!!!!! So excited to share the stage with so many incredible dancers!!!

I always encourage my students to show vulnerability as that’s when you truly grow not only as a dancer, but as a person. And what better way to show this than to lead by example. I’ve had both a lot of fails & successes in my dance career, and each time putting myself out there has been scary yet so rewarding. I don’t show vulnerability easily, yet celebrate the beauty of it.

It was a huge deal to do this with and the audition process. Not just the dance part (though that was massive), but also personally. The pandemic has been rough, and mama lost a bit of her sparkle. This journey I’m about to embark on will be challenging, rewarding, and will bring much more sparkle back!!
