And another day of Don filming completed! We are rapidly getting close to finishing principal photography! Daniel Husser was able to secure an amazing location (with great food) at Pete’s Eggsnest (and a huge shoutout to Leanna Keith for suggesting it). Norman Husser, Michelle Stahl, Natalie Mazzoni and Rosanne Ma brought the script to life in ways that surpassed everything I imagined!
We only have a few days left of filming believe it or not!

Had another great day of filming Don, and got to wrap Ren Caldwell! They are an amazing talent and one I hope to work with a lot in the future! The shoot would not have gone nearly as perfectly without Samantha Wenzell who not only ran audio, but did an amazing job dressing the set. Naturally Brian Gunter did a phenomenal job as the Sheriff Duke. And last but not least, Daniel Husser did usual usual amazing job of making our story look beautifully cinematic. Had another great day of filming Don! First of all I wanted to thank Dave Shecter for his kindness and his amazing sets! Then I wanted to thank Samantha Wenzell for doing some exceptional sound work and being a joy to work with.

We got to film some of my personal favorite scenes in the movie yesterday, and Michelle Stahl, Ren Caldwell and Norman Husser really brought them to life (and exceeded my expectations!) Also Daniel Husser got some of the best shots of his career yesterday.

I am so looking forward to our next shoot and can't wait to share some screenshots soon.

Our short film, LOSS, has been submitted to various festivals around the world! Keep your fingers crossed for us, because our actors did a tremendous job and we can't wait for the world to see it!

Finishing 2022 by putting the finishing touches on some amazing projects! We can't wait for you all to see them!

Just completed a rough edit of our short film "Loss"! Now we have to refine the audio, create powerful music and do all the VFX shots.

Editing this was a breeze because of our incredibly professional and talented cast. Can't wait to show you their work!

Thank you to all who have submitted their auditions for our horror-drama "LOSS". We are reviewing them now and will make our decisions soon... but in all fairness to us, the talent did NOT make this an easy choice! We are honored to have such amazing actors wanting to collaborate with us to bring this script to life!

CASTING NOTICE!!!!

LOSS
Pay Rate: Meals, Copy, Credit, and Transportation
Project Title: Loss
Production Dates: One day in early October (TBD)
Filming Location: Kent, Washington
Non-Union
Project Synopsis: This is a dramatic short about two characters in a zombie apocalypse. One character is about to die, and the other is saying their final goodbyes.
Important note – This project is an allegory for dementia, so if you feel uncomfortable about the subject matter know that we are handling this with the utmost care and sensitivity.

Character A: They are suffering and losing their identity as they speak.
Character B: The caretaker role, saying their final goodbye.

The characters relationships will be entirely determined by casting. We have deliberately left it broad and open to actors of every race, gender, orientation, age and body type. The characters could be best friends, parent/offspring, a couple, etc... as long as they are close.

COVID SAFETY: All actors must be vaccinated and boosted. Actors will also have to test negative before filming. Crew will be masking up on set.

Cleaning up the audio for "The Giraffe". It has been fun battling air conditioners... but we are winning!

Editing our latest comedy short! Timing, especially in comedy, is crucial. Just one frame here or there can either make a joke land or not, so we are taking extra care for maximum laughs.
