This is why you should have your fireplace cleaned and Inspected. Overnight rentals especially should be done once a year.

Some before and after of a fireplace repair. Put a chase cover on top. New Back Refractory and Ember Spark Screens inside the fireplace. Cleaned the chimney as well.

Another one in the books. It’s a Hearthstone Castleton plus the chimney system.

Today’s install. Jotule Direct Vent Gas Stove with vent system. And my step dad (Ron) ran the gas line that looks amazing.

Yesterday’s install. It’s a Green Mountain 40 Wood Stove and a Double Wall chimney system.

Haven’t posted in a while. I brought this heavy stove in the house by myself installed it and the chimney system.

So glad to have this one finished.. I uninstalled a direct vent fireplace that somebody out vent free logs in which is not to code.. Had to reframe and close off opening where vent cap was.. Installed a vent free box and re installed the vent free logs.. Then re laid the stone..

Uninstalled a Pellet Stove Insert it about killed me carrying this thing down them stairs by myself thing was over 250 pounds. Installed a set of gas logs and a timer. Also a Tamper Proof Screen..

9/15/21 Had a few Chimney Cleans today and my helper sure is getting good at this..

9/10/21 Had to chip away old mortar on chimney crown and several loose stones as well. Re Crowned the top and re mortared the loose stones. And my little helper had to get on the roof to get away from the bears.

9/14/21 Removed a old set of gas logs and installed a new set of Glo Getters 24 and my custom tamper proof screen also put on a 60 minute timer

2 Chimneys Swept and cleaned , Installed a lock top damper also had to re crown the top of the chimney.. And on the last picture My helper decided he was gonna fish instead of work. Lol

Got me some good help today!

Finished up a install on a tankless water heater. Installed the water heater and vented it also converted it to propane. And ran and stubbed out gas line.

Ran a little gas line have to return for a gas conversion on a furnace and then connect the gas line to the meter.

Had a natural gas water heater swap out. Thanks to Chad Sutton for the extra had.

Another Service and Cleaning and installed my Custom Tamper Proof Screen.

Replaced the chase cover. Also had to crawl inside the chase and seal all the gaps with wire mesh and spray foam. Also had to do a little stone repair.

Before and after.. Swept the Chimney. Replaced the broken Back and Floor Refractories Panels. Also Installed a new set of screens.. Will eventually replace the doors for a more up to date look..

Before and after of a stone wash.. It’s hard to get the years of water leak stains off..

Finished running chimney pipe installed a chase cover and the chimney cap then painted black.. So glad to have this job done.

Replaced the Gas Logs that guest decided to burn wood and melted the everything on the burner.. So I removed the glass doors and installed my Custom Screen..

Chimney Clean, Stone Wash, Gas Line ran to New Set of EYF24PV gas logs and to a outdoor griddle. 60 minute timer on both also my Guest Proof Screen. I did have a little help from my good buddy Keith Ownby on this one so can’t take all the credit.
