Have a safe and Happy Independence Day from all of us at Detachment Sheboygan! Remember to drive sober and don’t forget your PFD!!!

07/03/2024

Remember to boat responsibly and say no to alcohol if you’re driving on the road or on the water.

Did you know that alcohol consumption is the leading cause of boating fatalities?

Boating Under the Influence (BUI) is a criminal offense, and you can be arrested for operating a vessel with a blood alcohol concentration of .08 or higher. In some states, a BUI arrest may also result in the suspension of your motor vehicle driver's license. To avoid becoming a tragic statistic this boating season, ensure you have a designated sober vessel operator.
