The history of the long drink...

Finland in 1952. The country was still recovering from World War II and was preparing to host the 1952 Summer Games. Wanting to welcome global visitors, but concerned with how to serve them drinks fast enough, the government commissioned the creation of a refreshing and revolutionary new liquor drink, and thus the first long drinks were born.

Fast forward 70 years to the next generation of Finns who wanted the world to experience the refreshing and unique drink of their homeland. Thanks to them, this iconic beverage is now available in America in a variety of flavors, bringing the refreshingly different taste of Finland's favorite drink right to you. The Finnish Long Drink bridges cultures and generations, and is best shared among friends old and new. Kippis! (that's cheers! in Finnish)

Grand Marnier is a French brand of liqueurs. It's an an orange-flavored liqueur created in 1880 by Alexandre Marnier-Lapostolle. It is made from a blend of Cognac brandy, distilled essence of bitter orange, and sugar. It is commonly consumed "neat" as a cordial as well as mixed drinks and desserts.
