Here at NuView Lawn Pros we use a mulch blower when mulching. It helps provide a very nice smooth surface of mulch for your landscape beds that can be hard to mimic if you're spreading it by hand. It's very efficient! If your landscape normally takes 10 yards of mulch for example, it might just take 8 or 9 yards using this machine. It also saves a lot of time! Therefore, no job is too big! The fleet is ready to deploy

13 years ago today was my first professional snow event. Joe Finch asked if we could clear the lot at Jostens, and we ended up plowing other lots for over a 24 hour period.
We did that even with an open cab tractor and skid loader with the help of Nathan Gragg.
Today we are preparing to go out across the mid state with a whole fleet of truck plows and spreaders. We have come a long way since then.

We laid fresh mulch and pine straw just in time for the holidays for one of our contracted customers.

The grounds are busy today as everyone prepares for the 85th Celebration. A big thanks to the Celebration’s official lawn care professionals, NuView Lawn Pros. The infield is greening up nicely since they started using the greenskeeper mower this week.

Turf renovation under way.

If you look at your grass closely right now, you might see the blades moving. That is not just the breeze — it’s a caterpillar known as the fall armyworm.

“This year has been an unusual year. They’re worse than anybody I’ve talked with can remember,” said Scott Stewart, entomologist with the University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture.

The armyworm is the caterpillar of the fall armyworm moth. It feeds primarily on grass, fresh sod, hay fields and other summer and fall crops. However, you may see the most problems with Bermudagrass and pastures. An armyworm’s life span is about twelve days, with the last couple of days being the period where armyworms eat the most. Quickly, they turn lawns brown and patchy.
