STEM class is awesome! 2nd graders coding robotics!? Incredible. Most of us were lucky to play “Oregon Trail” in school and now check out what these kids can do!!
Allowing our children to pray with their peers and have open conversations about faith is something we shouldn’t take for granted. It helps them grow and deepen their relationship with God. These prayers are authentic, meaningful, and brings our school together as one. Just watch this short video that helps explain prayer St. Odilia.
Another reason why I love Catholic Schools and St. Odilia School...how many opportunities do kids get these days to celebrate their faith with 12,000 other students across the Archdiocese at US Bank Stadium?! This past October, they sang together, prayed together, and listened to very inspirational @BirkMatt. All thanks to Catholic Schools Center of Excellence. Oh, and they started an awesome chant similar to the Vikings Skol chant! An unreal experience for our students.
Last week, students in third grade Social Studies used virtual reality viewers from CSCOE’s C-STEM Library to explore famous American landmarks such as The Grand Canyon, The Statue of Liberty, The Alamo, Philadelphia, The Golden Gate Bridge, and Mount Rushmore. What an experience!
