I didn’t want to get into Real Estate because I’m not “sale-sy” 🙅🏻‍♀️ I felt like Real Estate agents were thrown into the same category of car salesmen. I was worried people would avoid me like the plague. So I took a •w i l d• approach of NOT doing the things everyone suggest when jumping into Real Estate (door knocking, cold calling, pushing real estate on anyone and everyone). Instead, I came from a place of genuinely wanting to help others, specifically those trying to utilize their VA loan. I stayed true to who I am, never changed my personality, and used the knowledge I had gained to teach others. I know so many people interested in Real Estate but are held back by the same fear of having to be a “sales person”, but I can promise you, if you have a genuine purpose behind your WHY and stay true to who you are, you’ll do just fine 😉 Or stare at people. There is more inventory 🙌🏼 This also means homes are staying on market longer and there’s room for more negotiation (like home contingencies, and you can actually have an inspection now 🤯) Even with rising interest rates, they are still historically LOW.
