Southern California F A L L 🍂🍁🍃 We may not get all the seasons here - usually wind is the only tell tale sign of autumn around here. But now and again you drive by a tree or two that changes colors and do a little happy dance! When I saw the magic happening through my lens yesterday, I KNEW I was gonna do that happy dance the whole time I edited this fun family session!!

THE perfect time of day with THE perfect outfit color combo. Does your family stick with neutrals or incorporate some bolder color choices for your outfits. I typically prefer a neutral color palette but these earthy tones were magical! 🤩

Families on the beach 🤩 I will say, the beach adds just a little bit more chaos to a session (especially with young kids) but it’s TOTALLY worth it for photos like these! Loved braving the wind and the sand with this sweet family!

✨ S N E A K P E E K ✨ of the sweetest family! Stella’s little scrunchie nose smirk made us all laugh while she stayed serious most of our session time! The cutest little ONE year old!

F A L L is here and although the forecast shows increasing temps, I’m going all in. The cozy sweaters, leggings, soup, and cinnamon flavors are calling my name.

Baby number 4 coming soon 😍 Big sister is about to be the princess in the castle with 3 brothers! How fun to grow up with so many siblings…

I had one sister, I have 2 girls, and my sister has 2 kids. How many siblings do you have vs how many kids of your own??

Christy + Forrest 🤍 They traveled from the Midwest and the California sunset definitely showed off for them this weekend!

I was going to peruse the internet to find some inspiring quote about friends - but instead I’ll say this. Find your tribe. Find friends you want to be with, laugh with, cry with, grow with, evolve with, level up with. Find friends who inspire you, but can also agree when a sh*tty day is a sh*tty day. Find friends you like to work hard AND play hard with!
In this case, with these friends, we’ve found all those things. And bonus that I get to chase them around with my camera all the time and they look this good 🤍
All this as an excuse to say - thanks for being great friends. And giving me amazing content 😘

What can you expect if you want images that feel like this? A little bit of a slower pace. It may feel strange to to be interacting with each other and looking at your spouse instead of the camera - but in the end that’s what creates the photos that tell the story of your family. We will get a smiling photo, but we will also create moments to help you remember the little details about your family at this stage in your life.

My soft spot continues for moms and daughters 🤍 The Longwell Family did an amazing job styling and I LOVE how the 3 girls together have an ombré look! Against the glow of the beach last night, they looked gorgeous!
