After 40+ classes, a million hours studying, semesters paid off, going from school to work, I finally have my bachelors degree! As a first generation student, I was clueless through this whole journey. I had no one to teach me how to register for classes, what classes to take, the best ways to study, etc. I figured that out on my own. I was a full time student and worked part time as a server all throughout school because I had to pay for it myself out of pocket. This experience couldn’t be more valuable to me. I’ve always been someone who attributed my success to just being “lucky”. But I’ve come to realize this wasn’t just luck. I worked day in and day out for this. I’ve never ever been the smartest person in the room, and school has always been really hard for me. I wanted to be able to show myself that if I work really hard at something, I can achieve it. I’ve never been one to be afraid of being seen trying, & that’s how I got through school. My education is something no one can ever take away from me, and that’s why I wanted it to so bad. College has shaped me into such a knowledgeable, hardworking, & goal driven person. I’m so thankful I did this for me, it’s the proudest thing I’ve ever done. Cheers to the class of 2024! WE DIDDDDD IT🎓⭐️💌❤️

last night my old guy crossed the rainbow bridge. I had always felt a soul tie to Zues. he was the last part of my childhood I had after moving out of my childhood home. I was okay cause he was moving with us. I’ll always remember the way his paws clinked going up the stairs, how happy he was after a walk, and everything else he gave us. I couldn’t be more devastated and I wish he lived forever
