This Sunrooms windows were so thin that the room was either Freezing in the winter or a Sauna in the Summer. We replaced the windows with Larger Milgard Tuscany windows. Milgard Tuscany windows are Dual Paned with UV Coating on the glass as well as Argon Gas between the Panes.

Now the room is just like the rest of the house. We also changed the setup from 7 tiny windows to 3 Large windows that increased security greatly.

That was the customers main concern. Security. The older windows could easily be opened from outside.

Milgard Tuscany Window Replacement in Simi Valley. A Few changes were made on this project to suit the homeowners taste.

When homes were built in the past, the builder used the same windows for every house which didn't necessarily make sense in regards to Allowing airflow to come through the home to cool it down on warm days.

For this home, we added opening windows in place of one's that didn't open previously. We also added a Bay/Garden window in the Living room to create a better view of the beautiful yard outside.

Arched Window Conversion.

This existing Arched window Gave the Neighbor Next door a Direct view down in to my Customers Dining Room.

My Customer, the New Homeowner loves his home, but this lack of Privacy has been an issue. The Windows Across the front of the home are short, rectangular windows above. We changed the Arch to match the other windows.

A Little bit of work involved, but sometimes making your home the way you'd like it, isn't so easy. Well worth it though.

12 ft Milgard Tuscany Series Sliding Glass Door Replacement in Simi Valley.

This 12ft door is a 3 panel door with the active opening door in the middle. Each panel is 4ft wide.

The standard 12ft door has 4 panels with the two doors in the middle that open. This 3 panel arrangement is a bit more practical since the door locks to the Fixed panel instead of the 4 panel arrangement where the moving doors lock to each other.

In my opinion, the 3 panel is more secure and easier to operate.

When this house was built, the plan didn't take into account the Beautiful view. 2 windows side by side obstructed the view from the Families Breakfast table.

Now, The family can sit and have a meal together and enjpy the view that very few have.

The Customer lives along side a highway that has become very busy over the years next to their beautful rural home. Their Milgard windows are over 20 years old.

We replaced their glass with New Energy Efficient glass units with Argon Gas, a thicker pane of glass on the outer Pane, and no grids. The thicker Pane of glass gives double the sound dampening factor.

Now, The road is almost silent just outside their windows.

This original door was 20 years old. The Locking system froze up on it. The Company that made this door went out of business 5 years ago. Therefore, the Warranty was no longer valid.

This Project is a rental property. A Spot in the San Fernando Valley that is in a gated community. When we arrived, the AC had been on at 75 and was only reaching 80 degrees. Therefore it continually ran all day with no break. When we completed the install, the house was holding its temp at 75 and was only running half the time.

Milgard Tuscany replacement. This door is the first we have done with a 3 panel door instead of the usual 4 panel. I personally like this door because it allows for larger panes of glass which gives a better view of the backyard. The door works much better as it only has one large panel that opens and closes. Instead of locking to each other, the panel locks to the wall which will last much longer without any adjustments. The Opening is larger and has a locking screen as well.

With a 4 panel door, the 2 center doors open. If you decide to only open one, the opening is only about 30 inches wide. This forces you to open both to have a larger opening. The screens on a 4 panel door do not lock as well.

Sliding Glass Door replacement in Simi Valley, CA.

This older wooden door with Grids had a classic look, but a New Milgard Tuscany Series Sliding glass door with Internal blinds and no grids gave a nice modern look to the home. This new door has an added Security bolt lock to provide more Security. It also allows for better light, more privacy, and a better view.

Sliding Glass door replacement in Thousand Oaks. This original door was 21 years old. It appears to have been damaged by a Heavy object being rolled over the threshold. Upon removal, we noticed the door had been sealed badly with very little sealant. Hence the reason it leaked whenever it rained.

When choosing your window or door installer, be sure they plan to use plenty of Polyurethane with an extra layer of Flexible caulking around the edges. That gives 2 layers of protection to keep the weather out.

This house was built in the 50's and is on one of the busiest streets in the San Fernando Valley. We updated this design by removing the slope sills that will soon be finished with a new layer of stucco.

It took me a while, but here is our project we completed in June this year. This was a special project for my Aunt in Vancouver, Washington. My Dad and I took an opportunity for a Work Road trip to install new Milgard windows in the Pacific Northwest.

Installing windows in the Northwest is a bit different than Southern California. No waiting for the rain to stop. It doesn't. We completed the job in a few days and changed my Aunts house in many ways.

The Airplanes from Portland Airport are no longer a nuisance. There was also a heat wave that came and her house was significantly cooler than the 100 degree weather outside. She now can easily open the house to cool down at night and trap that cool air inside during the day.

Not only was this a great experience for work, but a phenomenal experience seeing Family and friends in what I see as the most beautiful part of Our country.

Window replacement using Crystal Pacific Vista Series. This customer was required to replace their window by their HOA because of the broken grid in between the glass. We decided to use Crystal Pacific and replace 2 windows side by side for almost the same price as 1 Milgard window.

Crystal Pacifc is a smaller window company based out of Riverside that has a comparable product to Milgard with a Great Warranty as well.

Window and Door Replacement for North Hills in the San Fernando Valley across the street from the Veterans Hospital.

For this project, we used Crystal Pacific Vista Plus Series which is comparable to Milgard Tuscany Series. Top of the Line Vinyl Retrofit Replacements with Title 24 glass and upgraded Hardware. The new products also include security locks for each window and door.

This house had 3 doors and only 4 windows. Installing in 100 degree weather is typically hard, but we got it done.

We Converted the Garden kitchen window to a standard Horizontal sliding window.
