Farmington Valley Chorus has an award that gets passed around the chorus to recognize members who share their awesomeness. Melissa took on the challenge of coordinating all the tech for our December Holiday Show and brought our show to the next level using graphics, sound effects, and more. We made it Home for the Holidays! 🎶💈✈️ It was so nice to be back in the Sanctuary at First Church of Christ Simsbury and perform for the BEST audience! Thank you to everyone who bought a ticket, worked on the script, learned new music and lines, helped behind the scenes, set up the reception, and everything else in between!

While we are disappointed we won’t be singing tonight, we are thankful to get a day off after an amazing show yesterday. Thank you to everyone who came out! We had a great time.

Regrettably, the Unite by Light 2023 community luminary event scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 10 is cancelled due to the forecasted rain and wind.

We are grateful to the volunteers who signed up to distribute, light and clean up the luminaries, the performance venues for sharing their space, and the more than 100 performers who were ready to perform. 💙

We're also thankful to Leigh Hennig for his willingness to take photos of the event, and to Libby Easton-May for serving as performance manager. 👏

Finally, we are grateful to the residents who decorated and assembled the luminaries and to our sponsors who donated to support this event and our upcoming programs and events. 💙

All is not lost, though! ✨

We are happy to share that we will be distributing all of the decorated and assembled luminaries to organizations throughout the community! Each has agreed to let everyone know when they will light them so that you can see them. 🎉

The organizations receiving luminaries are:
💛 St. Mary's Church
💙 Simsbury Housing Authority/Virginia Connolly Residence
💛 Simsbury United Methodist Church - will light on Christmas Eve
💙 Belden Forest Court
💛 Covenant Presbyterian Church/The Barn - will light on Christmas Eve
