To all of those who have triggers that were effected, I wanted to apologize, first and foremost. That shouldn’t have happened, and I’m sorry it did. Regardless of our mistake, I am grateful for everyone’s patience and understanding with the matter.

Anyone who’s trigger has missing threads, we are going to give you a trigger for free. You won’t have to pay a dime. We will also provide you the thread pitches of the screws so you can tap and chase the effected trigger. This means you’ll have two functioning triggers and you’ll have a spare, or a gift for a friend.

Update:

We are awaiting a shipment of triggers, safeties, and mag releases from our coater. We are also waiting on a shipment of brass deflectors from Scott to be sent to our coater and once they receive it, we will be able to fulfill all remaining orders.

I apologize for the delay. The extended courier delivery times due to the holiday season, as well as an issue with our PO have set us back.

Thanks to Tom’s professionalism, he waited to coat anything until we cleared up the conflicting PO. Although this lead to longer lead times, it ensured we make the orders correctly. This helped us a ton, and we are thankful for for their professionalism and help.

We should receive all orders within the next week or two, then we can QC, Assemble, pack & ship.

I’m truly sorry for this delay. We are going through some growing pains as we get bigger. Thank you all for your continued patience and support. We are trying our best to get this resolved and minimize lead times.

Hey guys it’s Ian. I hope each and every one of you had a great thanksgiving. I hope everyone is doing well, and your families are happy and healthy.

We had an amazing year this year. We fought through some set backs, became overjoyed with new members to our family, grew our operations, made new friends, worked with new shops, and developed new products.

None of this would be possible without your guys continued interest and support. You guys are the reason for our success. Without you men and women supporting us through continued interest, supporting us by spreading the love for us and our parts, or the monetary support by purchasing our goods. It’s all thanks to you guys, the consumers, that we can make enough money to continue this crazy dream. Another successful year.

One man a minute….

Every 60 seconds a man kills himself. There’s a lot of social stigma around a man who’s mental health is poor or declining. Especially in the gun community and the “Manly man circle”. This s**t needs to stop. There’s nothing more pathetic than talking down on a man admitting his faults and the darkness he feels. Yanno what’s not pathetic? Embracing your fellow man with compassion and understanding.

We are all human. We all struggle. We all have our demons. We all know what it’s like to need someone and not have someone. The human mind can be a dark and lonely place. There is nothing weak about suffering and struggle. There is nothing weak about asking for help. In fact, that’s one of the most courageous and honorable things a man can do. Please seek help if you need it.

We cannot allow our brothers, friends, family, and fellow enthusiast to suffer in silence.

I’d like to ask everyone to text, call, or reach out to a friend. Someone you haven’t spoke to in awhile. Check in on them. Catch up, remind them of the good times y’all had. End the call with I love you. Those three words can mean the difference, in ways you couldn’t imagine.

Also, anyone who is struggling right now reading this post, reach out. DM me, comment, start a conversation in the comments. We are all family here. ARID is just as much a community of Friends and family as we are a company focused on engineering excellence. ARID UPDATE PT. 1

Hey guys it’s Ian. This is where we are at.

**SEPTEMBER ORDERS**

Our machinist Scott had a minor set back this month. His Mill broke and caused a minor delay. We are working as hard as we can to catch up to this delay but we are slightly behind. All orders from September should be fulfilled and shipped within a week, hopefully.

For the sake of being transparent with everyone: One of our biggest hindrances to order fulfillment speed is the courier services. Most of our lead times are USPS/UPS shipping times. We use couriers 3 times, and unfortunately this adds a week or two to the whole thing. We have recently updated our lead times from 3-4 weeks to 5-6 weeks.

This doesn’t mean we are slowing down production, we are actually working on expanding our machining capabilities and should be increasing production. This change is to address the fact that most orders take over the 3-4 week lead time due to the courier service speeds being so slow and unpredictable. Especially since we have parts shipped across the country 3 times.

**TOP RAILS**

Alright everyone, we have been discussing this heavily within ARID. We love y’all, and you guys are always monumental in our decisions. There has been a ton of people asking about anodizing over cerakote. This, as well as speaking with our machinist Scott (Impact Machine), has changed a few things. Scott is amazing, and through his professional judgement, we have decided to reach out to another shop for the top rails. This also opens up the ability for them to be anodized. **ALL** top rails will be anodized. Cerakote may be offered at a different cost to those who want it, we aren’t 100% sure about this yet. We are also going to be doing the top rails in 7075 aluminum. 6000 series *may* be offered as a cheaper offering, but again, we are not sure. We are actively testing the top rails as we speak. Once these are validated, and we get a sample from the new shop, they’ll be ready for sale.

Scott (Impact Machine) will still be producing our smaller sized components: Trigger/safety, mag releases, brass deflectors, charging handles, etc. Scott’s attention to detail and precision with the smaller products is something we couldn’t be happier with. That’s his passion and dedication pouring into those parts.

This A3SA had paint in just about every place it shouldn’t. Had to fully strip the receiver anyway to showcase some ARID goods. This receiver cleaned up beautifully. I’d say this receiver has ~100rds on it at most.

I woke up and my Aug receiver seems to have evolved over night…… weird. IYKYK.

412 range day aftermath

4K rounds, suppressed through my 14.5” Aug barrel with a Surefire RC2 in a 12hr session. Zero malfunctions or part failures, and I didn’t have to relube the rifle. Rifle was properly oiled and maintained before the start of the event.

Rifle was at 10k rounds before the event, now she sits at 14K.

I’ve gotten this question asked a bunch in my DM’s recently so I figured I’d just make a post.

I used Trajectory Arms out of Utah, for my P&W service. They’re incredible. The work is clean and beautiful, the alignment is perfect. The lead times are a bit longer however due to the fact that they recently started making the AE suppressors. Everything is timed and shimmed beautiful.

I highly recommend them when the service is available. Photo below.

Notice how they used a thicker Accu-washer to achieve proper OAL.

Where we are at:

Top rail:

First of all, an apology. I had stated that we were expecting a mid September release of the top rail, and that’s not the case. That’s on me for being excited and expecting things to go perfectly, as we all know: murphys law.

Our 40 slot top rails just got shipped to coating this week. And our 35’s are being finished up and sent out next week or the week after.

After the coating process, we have to do testing and validation. We are looking to do impact and leverage testing, as well as a 20-25k round test cycle. This should only take a couple of weeks. So as for now, we don’t have an official release date. We need to get this perfect, and then we can throw them up for purchase order.

It’s not that there’s an issue with the rails, it’s simply I’m refusing to give a date to avoid building interest that doesn’t end in fulfillment due to unexpected circumstances. They’re still coming, and we are at the very end of this project.

Current trigger orders:

Jon has been working diligently getting as many things packaged and shipped out as he can, while balancing a new born, and a regular life duties.

We accidentally received an order of 3 position safeties, so we are a slightly delayed on sending triggers out due to the wait for proper 2 position safeties. We are sorry for this.

We are getting everything sorted and will be full swing on packaging and shipping very soon.

The continued support and interest is amazing, and we couldn’t be more thankful for our customers and friends. We know that there has been some rough patches as of late, and we are working to ensure things like this don’t happen again, or as often, unfortunately, C’este la vie.

412 RANGE EVENT

Hey guys, we are excited to announce that ARID will be attending its first public event. It’s located in PA where I, Ian, live. It’s a huge outdoor facility, with more info available below. I will be there, showcasing our Aug components: This is a great opportunity where you can try out our products, get first glimpse at some unreleased and in development aug goodies, and meet other Aug owners. Hit the 900yd range together and see how y’all do! This a really spectacular event to run our favorite platform at a great distance, while also building friendships, discussing, comparing AUG’s, and growing the community as a whole.

We will also be revealing and showcasing other platforms we are working on and some up coming products for them as well.

“The 412 range day is happening on October 6th 2023, at the ben franklin range in Templeton PA. The range will consist of 3 ranges, 2 live fire ranges. The first range is a 900 yard unknown target distance range where you will be able to bring out any weapon platform and test your skills. The second range is a one of a kind turf range, both shooting lanes will have targets for rifle and pistol drills along side with firearm vendors to be able to test out products. Update time. In April 2023, we started receiving orders for our brass deflectors, which 46 of you crazies out there ordered. Unlike all of our previous products, the deflector uses black anodizing for the color finish.

This would be our first run of parts with a new coating service, offered by an anodizer in Louisiana, across town from Impact Machine where all your parts are made. The deflectors were made within a few days of ordering, but the anodizer, despite guarantees, did not commence work on finishing your parts until July, which is completely unacceptable.

We have received notice that they’ll ship to us late this week, and will be sent to you starting next week, 17-21 July 2023. That is, at least, the plan.

Options for customers with brass deflectors on order from April:

1. Continue to wait for fulfillment, and contact ARID for a 20% off coupon.

2. Cancel order for full refund
