It's ok to choose you and your happiness. We are programmed from a very young age, even for generations, that it is selfish to put your happiness first. I would challenge this thinking and encourage you to at least try it and see how it works for you. When your cup is full first, then you will be able to better give to others.

There are three levels of your mind. They include the conscious mind, the subconscious mind, and the superconscious mind. They all play an important role in how you function and how you perceive your reality.
Think of your subconscious mind as programmable software you can download onto your computer or on your phone but are downloading into your mind. You download the apps you want and then it performs the actions it is programmed to do.
Your subconscious mind is programmed to function with what you download into it, whether you want it there or not. It forms your belief system from your past experiences and past beliefs.
The good news is there are plenty of tools and strategies that are available for you to use to help you download what you want. One great tool is hypnotherapy. Hypnotherapy uses tools and strategies to bypass the Critical Factor, the gatekeeper of beliefs, and implant the beliefs you want to better serve you and create the life you want.

For far too many years I wore different masks around different people. Not only did I lose myself, I tried too hard to keep the wrong people in my life. I worried about what they thought about me, if I was good enough, and why a lot of my friendships seemed surface level.

It is when I finally took my masks off and accepted myself that I was able to form great relationships and truly know what it felt like to love myself. This is where the magic is!

Free yourself from the worry of what others think of you and truly embrace who you are. You are unique and there is no one else exactly like you.

You are the author of your life. You get to write out your stories and how you want your life story to be. There of course, are some plot twists along the way, but you are the author and get to choose how you respond and which direction you go. Hypnotherapy works at the subconscious level and this is important because 95% of how we function and behave happens at the subconscious level.
Some things that hypnotherapy has been used for include achieving goals, forming healthy habits, and overcoming fear and anxiousness.

Our brains produce different types of brain waves, each wave is associated with different mental states and activities.

The four primary types of brain waves are Beta, Alpha, Theta, and Delta.

Beta waves are associated with wakefulness and focused mental activity. They are typically present when we are alert, engaged in problem solving, or actively thinking.

Alpha waves are associated with a relaxed but awake state. They often occur when we are in a calm, meditative state, or during light daydreaming.

Theta waves are associated with deep relaxation, daydreaming, and light sleep. They can also occur during deep meditation, visualization, or hypnotherapy. Theta waves are often associated with accessing the subconscious mind and can be beneficial for creativity and problem-solving.

Delta waves are the slowest brain waves and are associated with deep sleep and unconsciousness. They are most commonly observed during deep sleep stages and are essential for physical and mental restoration.

At the conscious level you are aware. This is where you make choice and where your inner chatter box resides. Your inner chatter box is like your gatekeeper of beliefs.
The subconscious level you are not consciously aware of, but this is where 95% of who you are and what you do comes from.
The superconscious level is where we are universally connected and houses our problem solving intelligence.
To put it all together know your repeated thoughts turn into beliefs, your beliefs create your actions, and your repeated actions turn into your habits. Therefore, it is crucial to get new positive beliefs to your subconscious level.
Hypnotherapy has successfully helped many people do this.

There are techniques that you can use to help you on your journey to trust yourself, reach your goals, and work through barriers holding you back:

*Quiet your mind from your busy day and stress. You'll be surprised at how refreshing this can be and even the things you might learn when you are no longer focused on the stresses of the day.

* Go on a walk, do yoga, or do some kind of exercise everyday. Do what feels good to you.

* List and check off all of your accomplishments for the day. The good feeling you get from being productive and getting things done will send a reward signal to your brain and make you want more of that.
