Been doing a little house cleaning the past couple of weeks on the page. We've had quite a few people based out of India or the likes take interest in Midwest sprint car racing. I feel like that isn't the intention and have been blocking those profiles. I hope that cuts down on the fake broadcast links we have been getting in comments.

If I blocked someone who truly is interested in circle burning on dirt, I'm sorry.

Pic I thought was cool, turn 2 at Jackson motorplex.

We had a terrible pill draw and started 10th in the heat. Top 4 transfer, I got 7th.

On to B main number 2, started 6th. Top 2 transfer, I got 3rd.

But at least I got to watch the A mains with the family!!!

The car was working even better than last night after some fine tuning, however we just came up short in the end.

I forgot to mention that we were at Jackson Motorplex for the 305 portion of the Nationals yesterday and today!

Last night we won our heat race and got 9th in feature! Out of 42 cars, I'm going to call it a good night!

We had a solid night of learning at Rapid Speedway on Friday. Figured some things out on the motor and the chassis to improve the drivability of the car. Now I need to a better job of driving it!!!

Finished 2nd in the heat and 19th in the feature after running in the top ten for the first half of the race. I tried to run the high side and the car just didn't like it up there. Fell back a handful of spots, then tangled with a car racing for the same real estate. I spun off the track.

It'll be a short we to get the car patched up and to Jackson Motorplex to run the nationals on Thursday and Friday!

We are racing tonight at Rapid Speedway in Rock Rapids IA!

Kinda sucked tonight. We tried some different things to improve the car, it was worse. Spun out twice in the heat race. Put the car back to the way we had it the night before. Started 16th in the main, drove it up to 5th or 6th and spun out again.

Car is serviced, we are ready for night 2 in Mason City Iowa with the Western Iowa Non-wing Sprint Cars!!

We were running up front last night and driver made a mistake and span out. We able to rebound to a top 5. We'll do better tonight!

Night one of two in Mason City with the Western Iowa Non-wing Sprint Cars ! Ready for a fun night of racing!!

Had a blast at Rapid Speedway last night! Track prep was great and we found the issues plagging the 305 to overheat!

Heat 1st to 5th, just squeezed in the main.

Main 19th to 15th. It took a minute to find a fast groove, but started moving forward in the last couple of laps.

Up next is Mason City with the WINS in the 38 car!!

Our first trip to Miller Central Speedway was a good one until we lost a tire battling 4 cars for the lead in the feature. We won our heat race after a short rain delay! Overall fun night, just wish that tire would have done it's job.

We are learning! On our second night out in the 305, we got the car handling better and finding some speed!

However, we are still battling a cooling issue and was forced to retire early. Back to the shop to go through the cooling system and see if we can dig up the issue!

Running the green 90 tonight for Kent and Miles! Jackson Motorplex, 410's and 305's, it's going to be a great show!

This was a great way to kick off the memorial day weekend!

We kicked off the 2023 season a little different than our plan. We were going to head south and race with the Western Iowa Non-wing Sprint Cars , but we didn't have everything ready in time. We did start a new adventure racing a 305 for Kent Franks and Miles Grien. Ben Crees has been heading up the 305 duties with this team, and I have been fortunate enough to join in on the fun.

We went to Jackson Motorplex and unloaded a car painted to tribute my late uncle, Jim Adamson. Jim raced in the 6 cylinder, modified, and sprint division at Jackson and the surrounding area. Jim earned a track championship with six cylinder, and the car went on to earn 3 more championships as Jim moved up and classes and after he passed in 1976. It was an absolute honor to pilot a car to pay tribute to his accolades!

As for the racing, we hit the ground running starting pole in my heat and finishing 3rd after a learning curve on the new class and new car. We drew a 4 for the feature and got up in the marbles on the start and fell down the order until I could get to the bottom. We were able to get a few spots back and came in 13th at the end of it. It was a good first night in a new class and we have a direction to go for set up!

Well we had a disappointing end to the season losing "the little engine that could". We accepted the challenge to run an iron headed 360 in a open motor class, and had a blast racing against the 410's. Going into the last weekend we were 2nd in points!

We broke after hot laps on the second to last show in Harlan IA. We went home and tore the engine apart, it was to bad to fix before the championship night. We had to sit it out.

I want to thank Miles Grein, Kent Franks for believing in me to drive their hot rod!

Automotive Bed Liner Technician and Accessory Install Technician

LINE-X of Sioux Falls a locally owned vehicle customizing shop is looking for a motivated and reliable Spray On Bed Liner Technician.

We are looking for a technician capable of committing to a full time schedule 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. Part Time hours will vary.

Roles & Responsibilities: Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Prep, Scuff and tape truck beds before the application process
•Maintain the spray booth, and application equipment
• Identify possible complications and remedy issues before a job is started
• Complete orders in timely fashion and meet customers' expectations
• Record all information about order and vehicle
• Report any issues or safety concerns to management or lead technician
• Uses good judgment and safe driving skills
• Ability to drive larger vehicles and trucks
• Maintain a clean work area Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Skills and Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. It has been a busy weekend, I will do a more in depth post after tonight. But we are preparing for night 3 of the USAC Nationals at Huset's Speedway ! It has been great racing both preliminary nights so get out and enjoy the finale including the 100 lap midget feature!

Mason City motor speedway did not disappoint! We really need a good luck charm for drawing the pill though. We started our heat race outside second row, slipped up on the start and touched wheels with the guy in front of me sending my car off the track. I was lucky to keep the wheels mostly on the ground. Restarted in the back and rallied to 4th!

Drew a 7 on the redraw for the feature putting us inside 4th row. We were rolling the bottom decent enough to decide to stay low for the track position. I figured I would lose momentum going to the top and figure out the line up there. We could still see the 410's ahead of us, so I am pleased with the night!!

We have a lot of work ahead of us in the next couple of weeks, so our heads are down and moving forward!!

We are in Mason City IA to wrap up our three nights of racing with the Western Iowa Non-wing Sprint Cars !

Tricky track tonight. Started 10th, fell back to 11th and was able to rally back to 9th. Didn't have the car right and wasn't going to ask to much of it. Had fun with old friends and made some new ones!

Ran 1st to 4th in the feature.

Overall a good night! I need to clean up some mistakes I made, but feeling pretty good running this 360 against the 410's!

Tomorrow we'll be at Hamilton County Speedway with the Western Iowa Non-wing Sprint Cars .
