Belinda Parker Brown and Dr. Zena Crenshaw-Logal of Brown Vindicators were the new cards played on July 20, 2022 in Reverend Errol Victor, Sr.’s preceding, years-long attempt to turn the tables on his prosecutors and put the Louisiana Criminal “Justice” System on trial.

All three justice warriors put Double Jeopardy issues before Louisiana’s 19th Judicial District Court in a way never presented before. As the related press release explained, “Trial of Louisiana Minister Tainted by State's Racist Past and Alleged Court Corruption”. America’s Double Jeopardy Clause is meant to protect criminal defendants from such abuse, so Parker-Brown, Crenshaw-Logal, and Victor contend.

The argument would have been circumvented/mooted at an August 11, 2022 hearing had Parker-Brown, Crenshaw-Logal, and Victor not recognized and adverted a procedural land mine waiting to blow relevant considerations of criminal judicial collusion out of the metaphorical water. Having survived that August 11th threat, the three (i.e., Parker-Brown, Crenshaw-Logal, and Victor) now prepare to establish on August 29, 2022 that related, objectively discernible court corruption is too deep for the State of Louisiana to vindicate its prosecution of Reverend Victor. For the apparent participating conspirators, the proverbial chickens have come home to roost.

Thank you to everyone who joined the pivotal hearing for our campaign on Monday -- August 29, 2022. The hearing was on what are called "exceptions" in Louisiana, filed by the co-defendants. Here's a report on what happened:

Despite arrangements made in advance and plenty of email/phone follow-up by Christina Groce, Legal Defense & Crisis Management Team Director for Louisiana United International, Inc. (LUI), the Louisiana Orleans Parish Jail as agent of the Orleans Parish Prison, failed to connect Petitioner Errol Victor, Sr. to the court hearing by video;

Co-defendants Judge Dennis Waldron and the State of Louisiana appeared by attorneys with the state's office of Attorney General;

Co-petitioners Belinda Parker-Brown and Dr. Zena Crenshaw-Logal, appeared by video. Dr. Z made oral arguments on the Petitioners' Response to the Defendants' Exceptions which the petitioners finalized with Rev. Victor on the preceding Friday.

The joint response may be viewed @ https://www.dropbox.com/s/7nqptot928iiq4q/PetitionersRsptoDftsExceptions.pdf?dl=0

Let's just say that LUI and Brown Vindicators brought the 🔥

Presiding Judge Donald Johnson required the Petitioners and Defendants to provide him a proposed order by the next day which they did. Kindly compare the dramatic difference between what the two sides produced:

Defendants:

Yet, the Supreme Court handed a win to Comcast on Monday against Byron Allen who alleged the cable giant discriminated against him when it refused to carry channels operated by his television network, Entertainment Studios.

The “U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit ruled that the plea agreement prevents Taylor from having the right to sue”, a decision that stands now that our nation’s High Court won’t review the case.

"The COVID-19 Pandemic has us locked in tight while another plague on our society diminishes the lives of Americans in alarming numbers, for generations to come, unchecked and undeterred: It's organized abuse of the U.S. legal system.

If you know what it's like to have America's legal system weaponized against you or someone you love, and 'stay tuned while we lick the Coronavirus' has you feeling like a sitting duck or contending with increasingly unbearable losses, then please join me in pushing for enactment of 'The Enhanced Legislative Access and Relief Act'."

Dr. Zena Crenshaw-Logal
Campaign ELARA Co-Administrator

Transparency International, a prestigious anti-corruption coalition, recently shared this sentiment with its world-wide audience:

"For most people affected by the pandemic, the main focus is on keeping ourselves, our families and our communities safe. However, we must also remain vigilant against threats to social justice during this crisis."

No one knows the need for that vigilance more or better than anyone subjected to organized U.S. legal system abuse. In fact, if you have endured one or more criminal conspiracies to violate your rights, and most of your crime scene evidence are stacks of court papers, you should push for enactment of The E.L.A.R.A.

A Message from our CEO

We must not be silent anymore! The time has long passed to Stand United and Break the Silence by lawfully Demanding the Justice We Deserve in ways that Cannot Be Ignored. LUI is committed to helping empower every citizen of Louisiana to overcome whatever dysfunction and corruption plaguing our respective Parishes. The public sector corruption is prevalent and horrific and systemic in our communities. The local and regional political patronage not only robs Louisiana residents of their humanity; through it we are also extorted and bullied by people employed and compensated with our tax dollars!

LUI works with the leaders of several local and national social justice organizations who have the same solemnity and sense of morality that I and all LUI leaders have to speak truth to power. The word to our public officials and all our other agents of local, state, as well as national government that the time has come for a clean slate; it’s time to bring hope and healing to victims of corruption including unlawful discrimination!

We must fight for our civil, constitutional, and human rights to be preserved. Public awareness needs to be raised about the serious corporate and government waste, fraud, and abuse we’re enduring. For every injury there must be relief as U.S. law promises . . . and not in five years. NOW!

Please know that all Louisianans suffering at the hands of unscrupulous, powerful tyrants of private industry and government are my driving inspiration. I extend to you my courage to fight, and I need you to do the same for me. Together, we are a force to be reckoned with. LUI is, and if I have anything to do with it will always be a force for justice, so help me God!
