Y’all came through with six buggies of groceries for the pantry!
I was speaking with Pastor Casey this morning and he gave me a few statistics that I thought y’all would appreciate. Last year they fed over 14,000 individuals which amounted to right around 2 MILLION pounds of food. They’re on track to beat that this year! Your donations will be well used.

Everybody has a story. Mine involves a childhood with periods of homelessness and foster care. Food pantry’s and other organizations saw my family and I through some very tough times.

That’s why I’m very happy to partner with the food pantry at First Baptist Church of Slidell to do a food drive in preparation for the upcoming holiday season. I’m passing out donation bags in the Heritage Estates and Bon Village neighborhoods of Slidell. I’ll be picking up this Sunday starting at 5pm.

If you’re not in one of those neighborhoods (or didn’t get a bag on your porch) let me know and I will arrange to pick up directly from you. If you’re not local to me you can still donate! Just Google food pantry in your town and go drop a bag off. I guarantee it will make a difference.
