🐾 Please come meet Icarus! 🐾 Icarus is a lovable and energetic pup who is currently feeling a little overwhelmed at the shelter. The shelter environment, being in a kennel 24/7 since December 20, 2023, is beginning to take its toll on him, showing signs of restlessness.
Icarus is looking for compassionate individuals who can help him break out of the shelter routine, even if just for a day. Whether you can offer him a take out day, an overnight stay, a foster-to-adopt arrangement, foster, or a forever home, Icarus would be eternally grateful for the chance to experience life outside the shelter walls. He really needs a mental health day.
He enjoys spending time with people and does well with other dogs during playtime. Icarus deserves a walk in the park, a pup cup, a lay in the grass, a soft bed, he deserves so much more than living in a shelter. Would you consider being the one that would help Icarus? They have both endured a challenging past in a hoarding and abuse case, leaving them a bit scared and seeking comfort. As you can see, Zephyr is a little more comfortable being approached. But, now more than ever, they are in desperate need of a warm, compassionate, and secure home - whether through fostering, foster-to-adopt, or permanent adoption.
