Happy Pi Day!!! Have fun with some sweet facts!

Now is a great time to start tutoring! It's early enough in the semester that students have the opportunity to bring their grades up and feel confident about the new semester. Also, it's never too early to start preparing for the SAT and ACT. So message me today!

It's a wonderful day! A student told me he doesn't have to take any finals because his grades are so good that he's exempted them. 😊

Happy April Fool's! This not an April Fool's joke though. A student introduced me to an awesome new math app called MyScript Calculator. You draw a math problem, and it is automatically calculated. It seems the only thing it can't do is draw a graph. It even calculates logarithms with a base other than 10. Most calculators cannot do this! Check out this free app!

I offer tutoring through Skype if a student is unable to come to my office. I will always prefer face-to-face, in-person tutoring, but technology certainly can connect us and help me reach more students!

So I have to brag: I have a math student who has been making in the 50s-60s on most of his tests. We've been preparing very hard for his first test since starting tutoring. Drumroll please: he made an 84 and the class average was a C-!! Needless to say, we are celebrating this accomplishment!

This only happens once a century. Enjoy your Pi day!
